Twisted Sister Challenge

The Twisted Sisters challenge this week was to make a Christmas card with Christ's birth as the main focus.
I thought this stamp set was perfect for that. I am really liking the red and black Christmas paper this year. Once again, I made a fork bow.
I hope you enjoy the card and think about that first Christmas and the real meaning. That is why Jesus is the reason for the season.

CCEE One Layer Snowflake Card

The challenge for the CCEE Stampers this week was given by Joanne. She challenged us to make a one layer card. I received this stamp set (Northern Hearts) from a friend and I was ready to ink up. I saw this card on Splitcoast Stampers and they used crumb cake c/s. You can't tell by the picture, but I used Craft c/s. I embossed each snowflake. I used cherry cobbler, early espresso and craft white ink. The bow was made with a fork.

I hope you all have all your pies made and are ready for a day of Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tea Pot Party Card

The tea potters were making cards this week to send to Neil who had a really bad accident. We are hoping to cheer him up. I wanted to make him a card and to do one that had no foo foo on it. The designer paper is from DCWV and the silver I embossed with a diamond embossing folder. I used a strip of white across the center, but black ribbon would have looked better, but I promised myself to not put that foo foo on Neil's card. I distressed the red piece of card stock to give it a more manly look.

Thanks for stopping in to see me.

Paper Cupcakes-Let Us Give Thanks

The challenge for Paper Cupcakes was given by Gloria. She challenged us to use brown, orange and yellow on our cards, but with a twist to include words of gratitude. I love these colors and the Cheery Lynn leaves were perfect for this card of thanks. The image "Autumn Splendor" and the ticket are both from Paper Cupcakes. If you would like to join in on this challenge, come on over to
There's Magic in the Air . You can find all the details there.

I am wishing all of you a very happy and safe Thanksgiving.

TSC-Quick and Easy

The Twisted Sister Challenge for today was given by Brat. She challenged us to use silver, green and white. I actually had forgotten I had this challenge due today. I thought of it this afternoon and decided to pull off a really quick card. (for once, it worked for me) My Dasher stamp is another that had never been inked. I really am pleased with Dasher in silver. The silver bow is a fork bow. I love making them, but wish I had a bigger fork. (the one I used was fairly big)

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

2 dies or punches-CCEE

The CCEE Stampers challenge this week was to use 2 dies or punches on our project. I chose this image by Paper Cupcakes and decided I planned a purple boat to match my purple checked paper. I wanted a masculine card, but without the ribbon and buttons, it was just too plain. I still think it would be a great man card. The CCEE Stampers would like for you to join us in our challenge. Stop by CCEE Stampers and see what the other team members have made.

CCEE1145-Eat Ham

For the CCEE Stampers challenge this week we were to include 3 different shapes on your card. For example: Circle, Square, Star, Diamond, or even a die shape) I have had this stamp for several years and I think it is the first time I have used it. I am sure this message is what all the Turkeys are saying this month.

We would love for you to join us in the CCEE Stampers blog challenge. Check out the details and see the awesome cards the other team members made .

This card also qualifies for the Twisted Sister Challenge, to make a Thanksgiving card and have 11 punched objects on our cards. I do believe the fall folage has more than 11 punches.

Thanks for stopping by.
