Miss Victoria Kitten

The  Squigglefly challenge for today is to make a clean and simple card.  When I first got it in my head what I was going to make, it  was a lot more clean and simple than I ended up with.   When it was done, I decided it needed something in the upper corner so I added the flower in a darker blue and then it really had to have a brad in the middle of it.  I am sure you know what I am talking about when you just can't stop.  I hope you have enjoyed Miss Victoria Kitten today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Paper Cupcakes Bingo Challenge

The Paper Cupcakes challenge for this week is given by Danie May. She has challenged us to bingo.
Pick 3 elements from the below grid that are in a row, can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal and incorporate them into your card or project.  I chose the  Paper Cupcakes  new image "Lady Bugs birthday ".  I ended up with two bingo's on my card.  I hope you will join us for the challenge. You do not have to use a paper cupcake image, but you will get your name in the drawing twice if you do.   You can  check our blog for a image at a really reduced rate or go to Paper Cupcake's store.   We would like to see what you do with your image.  You can go to  There's Magic in the Air  to upload your card.  See you there.
Thanks for stopping in today.

Love this cute Squigglefly image

The Squigglefly challenge for this week is to "use a square peg in a round hole".   Translation - pick a different card shape OR find some weird buttons OR use that unusual paper....pick out a different odd embellishment OR even better, use something you would never think goes on a card and inspire us all!  I kept thinking about this image when I was trying to figure out a different shape card and I kept thinking about the hair on this image.  This beehive hair do is definitely a different shape.  If the hair shape doesn't count, I used a shaped button.  This image is so perfect for a friend at church who is sick.  She loves funny cards so I think this will put a smile on her face.

Thanks, for stopping by.  Hope you enjoyed the card.

Christmas Puppy from Christina

I just love this cute stamp by Lily of the Valley that my sweet friend from the UK sent me for Christmas last year.  Thanks,  Princess,  for sending me such an awesome stamp.  You can tell she knows my love for fur babies.  It took me a while to get up enough nerve to color it.  I am such a sloppy colorer, I can't stay in the lines, I need to go back to kindergarten, but I think the little kids would laugh at seeing a grandma in their class.   I will just practice at home.   This was my first attempt to color this and I am working on another one.

The Twisted Sisters challenge was given by Kathy this week.   She challenged us to make a card with a critter on it, do some type of embossing, us a die or punch and put a sentiment on the front.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  Come back soon, ya hear.

Charlene challenged the CCEE Stampers to a color challenge this week. Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi and a neutral of our choice.   The only one of these Stampin' Up colors that I have is Wild Wasabi so I substituted the other colors.    I really like the colorfulness of it.
The image "Sending Cheer Your Way" is a digital image by Paper Cupcakes .    Drop by the CCEE Stampers blog and check the other team members cards.  Color up you own image and join us for the challenge.  Would love to see link up your card.

Happy Birthday Wild Thing

The Twisted Sister challenge for this week is to finish a card that we had  started and left on the drawing board or stashed away.  For the ones who did not have a card to finish, they were suppose to make a card that they had been procrastinating on.   I started this card for a friends birthday a couple of weeks ago.   At that time the Kenny K challenge was to use tulle.   Ok, so I missed that challenge.  ~grin~ The ending of this card just didn't come to me, but tonight I knew I had to finish it by tomorrow so it finally came together.    Now I have to think of a sentiment for the inside and the card will be totally done.

Inside sentiment - Hope your birthday was totally wild.   Happy belated birthday, Wild Thing.

Thanks for stopping by.

Embossed vellum-sentiment main focus

The for CCEE Stampers this week is to make a card with embossed vellum.  You can use dry or heat embossing.   As you can see, I chose to use dry embossing using a Sizzix embossing folder.  I used paper by Paper Studio.   The gems came from a dear friend in England and the ribbon is Stampin' Up.
The sentiment is a digi from Squigglefly.

Drop by the  CCEE Stampers and take a look at the other team members cards.   We would like for you to play along with us this week, if you can.

Thanks, so much for stopping by today.

CCEE Stampers, Kathy's Waffle Sketch File

The  CCEE Stampers challenge this week is to make your own designer brads or buttons.   I used foam and a sizzix die to make my button.   The gals would love for you to come on over to the blog and see the cards for this week, as well as join us for the challenge.  Hope to see you there.

This card was made with a sketch that I saw over at Kathy's Waffle Sketch.   The image is from Squigglefly and their challenge this week is to use glitter/stickles.  I added dazzling diamonds to the fur on the hat.

Once again, thank you for stopping by to check out my creations.   I have a lot going on this week so I probably won't get to do another card until Monday and I will post a Paper Cupcake challenge card.

The  Squigglefly challenge this week is to use the colors pink and blue.   You can definitely tell where my blue is.   Do you see the pink?   It is on Ms Victoria's nose.   I hope that counts.  Isn't she just the cutest?   Her little face just looks so realistic.
