Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Colorful Hot Air Balloons - Last Challenge

While much of the East Coast is getting heavy snowfall and while we are just having cold temps, I am dreaming of sunshine and hot air balloons.  A PINK  hot air balloon at that.  ~smile~  Anyone who knows me very well, knows I do like my pink.  I made my card for this challenge and for the Technique Lovers Challenge at Splitcoast this week.  I really liked the technique and it was a new one for me.  We white embossed our images on white card stock.  I will do this technique again.

This will be my last post for the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge.  I have been the challenge hostess for about a year and a half.  I notified MFP of my decision to step down as the hostess.   They decided to discontinue this challenge.  There are other fun challenges at Speedy TV so please check them out.

Have a good week.  If you are on the East coast with all the snow, stay safe.

Squigglefly Put A Little Love In Your Heart

This is a very sad day.  This will be my last posting for the Squigglefly Blog.   Squigglefly will be closing at the end of the month.  If there is any images you want from the store,  be sure and get them before they close.

Today I am using an image from my favorite Squigglefly artist, Lynne Stansbery.  Lynne's images are always cute and so easy to color.   The image I used on my card is called Pinky Swear and it comes with three sentiments.

I hope you will come over to the blog and join us for the challenge.

Thanks, for coming by today.  See you again soon.

Speedy TV - Inspiration Challenge - Zentangle

I found some really cool zentangle pictures for the Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge this week.    A lot of zentangle I have seen is just done in black and white.  The pictures for our challenge are in color.  I  hope you will go check them out at Speedy TV.

I used the MFP Stamp Shop stamp set called "Roses".   The sentiment is from the "Hydrangea" Stamp set.  I like to have enough space in the image to do the zentangle.  This was my second attempt to tangle and I like my first one the best.   I hope you will join us for the challenge and try your hand at Tangling.  Be sure and take a look at the other team members cards.   They made awesome cards for the challenge.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Rainbow of Color

The Speedy Fox challenge for this week is to use all the colors in the rainbow.  This was a fun card to make.  I just sponged an array of colors over my stencil to make the background.  The sentiment and the flowers are from the MFP Stamp Shop called Lotus Blossoms.

I hope you will head on over to the challenge and join us.  We would love to see your rainbow of colors.

Classy Cards ~ Vintage Bicycle

I made this masculine card for Classy Cards N Such.    Seems like I do not make enough male cards to keep in my stash.  I really like this old Vintage Bicycle Die by Memory Box.  I thought the kraft and the black paper would really be perfect with it.

For more details of my card check it out on the Classy Cards Blog.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Old Barns with Ads

The Speedy TV  Inspiration Challenge this week is to be inspired by Old Barns.  Do you remember the old barns from long ago that had the ads on them?  Those are the barns I am talking about.  They had coffee ads, soda ads, Rock City ads, etc..  I can remember taking vacations as a child and I loved watching for those barns to see what was going to be advertised next.  For my card today, the barn I chose had a coffee ad so I used the MFP Stamp Shop "Java Time" stamp set.

I hope you will go over to the challenge and check out the nostalgic barns and join us for the challenge.  Don't forget to take a peek at the challenge teams cards while you are there.

Classy Cards - Can You Say Brrrrrrrrrr?

Well,  I can say Brrrrrr really loud with the near zero temps that we are having this week.   Not only is it cold, but there is a little wind that goes with it that makes it even worse.  I might be complaining, but this little snow family is very happy with no worries of melting.

The challenge at Classy Cards N Such this week is all about teal snowflakes.  I hope you will be able to join us.

Speedy Fox - Patchwork Design

For the Speedy Fox Challenge today I made a patchwork quilt card.  I used the MFP stamp set called Vintage Fashion and colored it with copics.  The sentiment I used is from the MFP Hydrangea stamp set.  I did a little doodling around the frame because I thought it would give it a little pizzazz.

Be sure and join us for our challenge.  We would like to see your patchwork design.

Classy Cards - All that Glitters

For the New Year challenge for Classy Cards N Such we were to make a card using glitter and something new.    I had new glitter paper in my stash  and this new die "Tall Chloe Stems" that I purchased from Classy Cards N Such.  I really like the way it turned out,  but was rather hard to get a picture that really showed its beauty.  I didn't have the right light, I suppose.  For more information on this card, please look Here on the Classy Cards N Such blog.    You can find all of the challenges we have up until March posted on the blog so you can get a head start to join us for the challenges.

Thanks, so much, for looking at my card today.
