Eureka Stamps - Walk on Water Bible Journaling Page

The Eureka Blog challenge for this week is anything goes.   I decided to do a journaling page in my Bible.   I used the Walk on Water stamp #15402.   I used Prisma pencils for coloring, the water was sponged on with distress ink and I sponged the clouds on using a cloud template.

I hope you are all having a great Memorial Day Weekend.  Stay safe.  Thanks,  for stopping by today.

P. S.   Be sure and check out the blog candy that I am giving away.

QKR Birthday - Don't Worry

The QKR Stampede challenge this week is to make a birthday card.  I love this Break Time Crow #11302.   He is all kicked back and enjoying his birthday.    The sentiment is computer generated.
The inside sentiment (also computer generated) says, " One more birthday won't hurt you,  but those old joints might be a different story".    I know-it's kind of corny, but it is perfect for the recipient.

Be sure and check out the challenge cards of my QKR team mates.  I hope you will make a card for our challenge.

Thanks, for coming by today.  Have a great weekend.

A Hot Man For Your Birthday

There is a new challenge up for the QKR Stampede blog today.  It is a sketch challenge.  I wanted to make a humorous birthday card so I used the Male Stripper # 23202 image.   My sentiments are computer generated.  The inside sentiment says, "And this one can bring home the money...".   I used glossy accents on his glasses and  gold stickles on the end of the cane.  He was colored with copics.  I let the paper, which was in my scrap bag, do the work for my sketch, the strip was already down the side of it.  I used red sequins for the finishing touch.

Be sure to join us for this challenge and you could be the winner of a couple of QKR digital images.

Have a Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Hey Cowboy

Here is a card I made with my Cowboy Snowman by DRS designs.  I entered it in their masculine card challenge this week.  I love the image and even though it looks like a Christmas image, I think it could be used during the winter months for male birthdays.  I colored my image with copics, used a chalk marker for the stitching and I was lucky enough to have this piece of scrap designer paper in my scrap bag.

I don't know about the weather in your neck of the woods, but it has been rainy and cool in mine.  I am ready for a day of  sunshine.  Today it is not raining and the sun only peeps out occasionally.  We are suppose to get a few more days of rain this week.  I guess it makes great weather for staying inside and making cards. My friend, Sue, was here visiting this week and we made lots of cards.  We did not let the rain get us down.

I am thrilled you stopped by today.

Eureka - Quilting and Stitching

The challenge this week for Eureka Stamps blog is to make a card with quilting or stitching.  Faux or real, it is your choice.  I used the Eureka Stamp Hybiscus and Bee #21001.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I used copics to color my image and added some stickles on the bee's wings.  Turquoise and orange has always been a favorite color combo, they are perfect together.  My stitching is around the white oval.

Be sure and join us for the challenge, you just might be the lucky winner of some free digi's.   I hope you will head on over to the blog to see what my team mates have made for you today.

QKR Feminine Card

Hi, it is Friday and time for another challenge at the QKR Stampede Blog.  This week the challenge is to make a feminine card.    I used the QKR image Nurse #16910.  I added floral ribbon to make it even more feminine.  The bottom panel is pleated, but it does not show up well in the picture.

Get your cards ready for the challenge and upload it to the blog.  We will be looking forward to seeing it.

Rocket Birthday

Here is a birthday card I made for the Splitcoast Stampers Ways To Use It Challenge and for the Sketch Challenge.  The Ways To Use It challenge - we were to make a card with a toy.  I used a Squigglefly image. My three year old grandson loves rockets, he tells me how they go into outer space.  He amazes me with his knowledge.  Between daycare and the learning programs on television,  he has learned so many things.  He has been with me this week and he sure has entertained me.

Thanks, for coming by today and taking a peek at my card.

The Eureka blog challenge is to make a Feminine Card for Mom.  It is hard to believe that Mother's day is two weeks away.  I chose to use the  Iris #21301 image for my card.  Most Iris' are purple, but I chose to make mine blue.

I used used a Spellbinders Decorative oval to showcase my Iris.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch and Spellbinder corners.

Please come over to the Eureka Blog and join us for the challenge.  I hope to see your card there.
