I made this card for Classy Cards N Such. Sympathy cards are the hardest to make when you need one so I try to have a few made a head of time. I used a Anna Griffin Matelasse embossing folder, it happens to be one of my favorites, it always looks so fresh and crisp. The stamp and the angel wings are by Our Daily Bread Designs. The label I used to mount the flower on is Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty Seven dies. All of the products mentioned may be found at

This is beautiful Shirley ! The wings and flower are gorgeous... Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteThis is great Shirley! I agree, sympathy cards are really hard to do, but you nailed it here. Not too plain and not too flashy! holiday hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley - yes, sympathy cards always take a lot of thought and feeling, and you sure did a beautiful card here! The BG adds so much, yet is subtle enough to showcase the great DP, the flower and angel wings - and with that sentiment, your card should bring lots of comfort to the family! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and elegant! I dislike making sympathy cards - but I do try to keep a stash.
ReplyDeletePretty sympathy card with lots of interest with the ef and dies. Lovely flower and colors Shirley. Hugz
