So, be inspired by this photo in anyway it inspires you.  I was inspired by the colors.  Since this is an inspiration challenge, projects do need to demonstrate that they are indeed inspired by the photo.   Stop by our challenge blog - There's Magic In The Air.

Kenny K tags and pockets

A friend sent me this Kenny K image some time ago and I am just now getting up enough nerve  to color it.  My friend colors these images beautifully.   I had to do some practicing first.    I love the Kenny K images  and once I got started on coloring this image, it was quite fun.   The challenge over at Kenny K's is pockets or tags this week so I will be entering my card in their challenge.   It has been years since I used this tag set.   I guess it is a good thing that we don't part with the things we don't use all the time, we never know when we might have a project that needs it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

CCEE-Flowers, Scallops and buttons

The challenge for the CCEE stampers this week is to use flowers, scallops and buttons.   Well, I can only count one button on my card,  but there wasn't another O that needed a button. ~chuckle~   I really like this Stampin Up set, but I  really have a hard time with the Shabby Chic cards.   It is a strange layout, but it is what it is.  I have been sick with allergies for about 3 weeks and my mojo has definitely taken a hit from it.   Today  I have felt pretty good so I think I am going to survive.

Stop by the CCEE Stampers and see the other team members cards.   You can find details there if you would like to join us for the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Speedy The Fox Challenge

Yikes, what happened?   Looks like blogger changed everything here and I am a little, well maybe, a lot lost.   We will see how this goes.

I made this card for Speedy Fox Challenge this week.  The challenge is show us the rainbow.  Technically they just want the colors and it doesn't specifically have to be a rainbow.  I used this stamp set from  Heinrich Company, I love how the sunset looks.  Makes me want to go there and sit in that chair.    This card was also used for my monthly card club.  Everyone seemed to like it.  I sent this card out to a friend having a birthday and then I put thinking of you on one of them and sent it to a friend who had just had surgery.  There is just a lot one could do with this set.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my card today.

Tea Shoppe

The CCEE Stampers challenge is given by Cindy Haffner this week. She has challenged us to make a pink, white and black card. This is one of my very favorite color combo's. I chose to use the Stampin' Up Tea Shoppe set for this challenge. I had a very difficult time trying to get a good picture. This colors were not very photogenic for me. I finally got this one which is the best of about 20 others taken both inside and outside. The doily was made with a Cheery Lynn Die, the dp is Anna Griffin. Take a peek over at CCEE Stampers Blog and see what the other CCEE team members have created. You can also see the details so you can join us for this challenge.

Thanks for coming by today. I hope your day is full of sunshine and fun.

73-Best Wishes, Charles

I think I have finally almost recovered from allergies that started two weeks ago. Saying that, I hope I will be uploading a few more cards than I did last week.

Today the tea potters are making cards for Charles in NY who has been diagnosed with cancer. With all Charles has had to endure in the last several years, I think he is like a Ford, yep, Ford tough. I didn't know much about ham radio so I googled some of their lingo to make banners coming out of the bed of the truck. The #73 is best wishes in ham radio "talk". Wishing you the very best, Charles.

The stamp I used for this card is by Printworks. I used Paper Studio and Stampin Up papers.
The copics I used to color the truck - YR09,07,04. I also used a silver pen for the bumper and chrome. I usually use another paper for coloring with copics, but I stamped this on Georgia Pacific paper and did not realize it until I started trying to blend my colors. Hmmm, it did not blend as well as my Crogen paper.

Thanks, for stopping by.
