Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Luau Wedding Tables

We have some beautiful Luau wedding tables to draw our inspiration from for the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge.   Below is my inspiration piece for my card.

The image I used is a Mark's Finest Paper stamp from the "Huge Blooms" set.  I used copic markers to color my bloom.   I used a MS border punch for the lacy border.  I entered this card in the featured stamper challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  The card design was a case from "stamptek's" gallery.  It certainly worked perfectly for this challenge.   I hope you can find some time to come and play in our challenge at Speedy TV.   There is a cute  Mouse stamp set one lucky person will win.

You can see the other two beautiful tables  over at Speedy TV.

Thank you for looking at my card today.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Musical

Speedy Fox and Friends are doing a musical theme this week for the challenge.    Just in case you can't tell,  this is suppose to be a guitar and pick.   There are 6 black brads that the threads are connected to, but I don't think they show in this picture.  I saw this card on Pinterest and pinned it in a CAS board.  Oh, was I wrong,  this has taken me three hours.  I used the Mark's Finest Paper Stamp Sets " Just a note" and "Glad Glads" on my card.  I hope you will join us for the challenge this week.

Thanks, for stopping by today.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Casual Luau Tables

For the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge I found three beautiful pictures of casual luau tables.
They sure do set the mood for wanting to go to a Luau.  Here are the pictures:

I bet you can't guess which picture I drew my inspiration from, can you?  ~smile~    I was stumped as to what to do since I did not have any blue dotted paper.   I decided to take white craft paint and use my stylus to put dots on my sand dollar.   The yellow hearts on my paper represent the heart shaped sunglasses.

The sand dollars stamps are by Mark's Finest Paper stamps.

Please fee free to come over to Speedy TV and play the inspiration challenge with us.  We would love to have you join us.

Happy Thoughts of You

Buttons and Bows is the theme for the challenge at Classy Cards N Such  this week.  For those of you who know me well, you know I like pink and I couldn't resist using it in this challenge.

I used the Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight for my decorative frame.  I used the Spellbinders Scallop Ovals along with a regular oval die from the  Spellbinders A2 Filigree Delight and stamped the sentiment from the  Impression Obsession Anytime Sentiments on the top oval.  I had these little black card stock buttons in my stash  and put pink card stock behind them.  I added pearls to my frame and a black lace bow.

We invite you to join us for this challenge.  We would love to see your card with buttons and bows.

Squigglefly Challenge - Make a Round Card

Things are going round and round over at the Squigglefly challenge blog.   ~grin~  Well, they are asking everyone to make a round card this week.   I chose to use the Squigglefly  image
"Giraffe Headshot"  by Inid Barnes.  I love Enid's animal images.  They are done in an artistic technique called pointillism.  They are really easy to color, too.   I hope you will join us for our challenge this week.

Thanks,  for stopping by today.

Classy Cards N Such, - Beach Time Fun

Here is my card for the Classy Cards 'n Such challenge , which is a beach theme. I made a box card. These boxes are really cool. They fold up and fit nicely in an envelope without any extra postage.

I cut the card along with the beach embellishments. I used Simple Stories Vintage Bliss Paper along with Kraft card stock.
I put the box together using 1/4" Scor-tape. I took a stencil brush and dabbed it with ink from my ink pads to highlight the flip flops, the sun and the cloud.
I attached my designer paper to the box then I used a Quickie Glue Pen to attach the beach embellishments. The beach ball is attached to acetate so it looks like it is flying through the air. I then took white sheer ribbon and wrapped it around my trusty fork to make the bow. The final touch to the box card was to add the scripture.

Speedy Fox Challenge - Acrylic Block Stamping

The Speedy Fox Challenge this week is to make a card or project using an acrylic block to stamp the background.   I chose to use a 7 X 1 in. acrylic block so I could make a scene with my background.  I heavily misted my acrylic block and I stamped it on water color paper.   I used a oval punch to make the bow.   I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamps "A trip to Lancaster".

Be sure to get out your acrylic blocks and get to stamping.  We want you to join us for this challenge.

Thanks, for stopping by today.

Watch Out For Those Chickens

The CCEE Stampers challenge this week is "Watch out for those Chickens". This is the first time I have used this stamp and have had it for many years. What was I thinking? :)

I love the title of this challenge. When my daughter was about 4 yrs ago, she was looking out the window at me as I was learning to ride a motorcycle. Her grandparents told me what she said-"Watch out for those chickens". It was so funny because there were no chickens around. There must have been a very imaginative story going through her little mind.

Thanks, for coming by and taking a look at my chicken card.
