Country Lane Riders

Today I have paired my Cowgirl and Cowboy silhouette stamps with my Country Lane Stamp.  Both stamp sets are by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I colored my image using Copics and the silhouettes were stamped with Ranger Archival Ink.  The clouds were made with a template from the Blue Knight Store and Turquoise ink.

Please join us over at the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Blog.  There will be a lot of new cards on it this week.

Thanks, so much, for stopping in today to see my card.  Have a great week.

A Stormy Night

I am the host over at Splitcoast Stampers for the Free 4 All challenge today.  I chose the theme "Storms Never Last".  Basically it means to make a card with a storm on your card.  I have had this image colored and laying on my craft table for a couple of weeks.  I made a stormy night background for him using Distress Inks.  By the looks of the clouds, this horse needs to go to the barn and take cover.  The stamp I used today is the Blue Knight Standing Horse.

I appreciate you coming by today.  I would love to see you post your cards to my challenge on Splitcoast.

Have a great weekend.

Dirt Roads - Don't Look Back

Hi, everyone,  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.   I had a good one, but it was busy and it really wore me out.  How about you?

Today I have a card to show you that is featured on the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps blog today.  I used the Dirt Roads stamp and added the Don't Look Back cowboy silhouette stamp with it.  I love the fact that I have many scenic stamps by Blue Knight that pairs so well with the silhouette stamps.  I am sure you can tell that I am really enjoying my Silhouette Cowboys.  I colored my image with copic markers.  I stamped my silhouette using Ranger Archival Ink.  My clouds were made using this cloud stencil.

I want to welcome my newest follower, Pinky.  I am so glad to have you following my blog.

Thanks, to all of you, for coming by today.  I hope to see you again soon.

Love The Cowboys

Once again, I have made a card using one of the Blue Knight Cowboy Silhouettes.  I am loving creating cards cards with them.  I hope you are enjoying seeing them.

My husband is not a cowboy and I have always been afraid of horses because they don't always do what they are suppose to do.  I bet that surprises you.  My grandsons, however,  did rodeo for many years and still will enter the roping competitions at the local fair in the summer.  I guess that is where my love comes in for liking western stamps and cards.

I created my background using clarity brushes and Catherine Pooler Inks.  As you can tell, I like bright colors.  The Catherine Pooler Inks are very bright so I wanted to give them a try today.

Thanks, so much, for joining me today.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Bog Hop - Cowboy Hero

Hello friends, I am back today with a card for Blue Knights Rubber Stamps blog hop.  Today I used the Cowboy Hero set.  Don't you just love it?  I used a alcohol ink background that I had created some time ago.  It is always nice to have some made a head for projects such as this.    I stamped the silhouette using Ranger Archival Ink. I added a star banner at the top to complete my card.

Tomorrow Kat will have a fabulous card on her blog for you to see.  Be sure and stop by to see Kat at Katsatplay blog.

Land and Sea

I used soft pastels to color this Land and Sea image from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This is my first complete card using them.  This stamp is from the BKRS last release.

Hope you all had a great Saturday.  We got more rain.   I went to Kentucky with my husband to eat at Olive Garden.  After we ate,  I had to go to Tuesday Morning.  They had a lot of nice paper pads.  I came home with three 6 X 6 pads.  I really didn't need more paper, but I couldn't resist.  I am sure you know what I mean.  ~grin~

I love it when I meet stamper/card makers in craft stores.  They are always so nice.  Today, I met a lady named Lynn from Texas.  My husband came up as we were talking.  Later he asked who she was.  He couldn't believe we had just met because we were talking up a storm just like we had known each other a long time.

You all have a nice Sunday.  I haven't looked at the weather to see if we will have a clear day or rain.  I have a feeling rain might be in the forecast.
