Blue Knight Sun/Moon, Circles Stencil

Good Morning, Stamping Friends.  Hope you are having a great Monday, so far.  It is a little chilly here, but I am hoping it warms up this afternoon.

I am going to share a couple of cards that I made with the NEW Sun/ Moon and Circles Stencil.  I can see lots of uses for these.

I chose a piece of Pattern Paper to start this card.  I stamped the Silhouette Dancing Girls on it.  I then put my circles over the top and and sponged the circles where I wanted them using pink ink.  I wanted it to look like bubbles floating through the air.

For this card, I stamped the images on the card stock.  I placed the sun/moon mask over the card.  I used distress ink brush color over the grass and sponged the sky.  I took off the mask for the sun/moon and brushed it with ink leaving it a little lighter than the sky.

I hope you liked my cards.  I am happy you stopped by.  Hope you come back, soon.

Blue Knight Buffalo Stencil

Hello, Stamping Friends.  I hope this finds everyone well and ready to start a new week.  We are getting some really nice days, in between the rainy ones.  :) I won't complain about the rain because around August we will be wishing we had some.

Today I am sharing cards I made with the NEW Buffalo Stamp Through Stencil Set that Blue Knight has recently put in their store.  There are lots of other stencils there also.  The stencils come with 2 masks, one thick stencil and one thin stencil.  The Thick stencil is the one you brush color on and the thin one is the one you stamp over.

When I first saw this stencil, I thought to myself, I have got to do this in pink.  Yes, I like pink.  LOL I chose designer paper in my stash and then  I started by using the thick stencil and brushed pink ink over it.  I then removed the thick stencil and put the thin stencil over it.  I used the stamps from the

Cowgirl and Cowboy stamp set to stamp over the pink buffalo.  I added mats and adhered them to the card base to complete my card.

I basically did the same thing on this card, I just chose different papers and stamps.

I hope you enjoyed your visit with me today.  I am happy you stopped by.  Have a good week.

Blue Knight Rectangle Stencil

Good morning, Friends.  Hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying Eclipse Day.  It is a rather busy place in Southern IL.  Lots of visitors here to watch the eclipse.  I hear that motels and campgrounds are all pretty much full.

Today I am sharing cards I made using the Blue Knight Rectangle Stencil.  The stencils come with 4 pieces.  There are two main pieces with the rectangle on them, one is thick and one is thin.  There are two masks that also comes with them.

I started by taking the Dictionary Background Stamp and stamping it on a piece of card stock.   I then brushed brown and green ink over it.  I placed the thick rectangle stencil over it and stamped the Galloping Horses over the top of it.  I added a barbed wire die cut.  I then cut my mats and added everything to the card base.

I used my thick stencil to brush color over a piece of designer paper.  I stamped the Silhouette Birds and Branches over the top of the stencil using the thin rectangle stencil.  I then stamped the Bible Verses 2 sentiment on the top sponged rectangle.

Thank you, so much, for coming by today. Come back, again, soon.

Blue Knight Hummingbird Stencil

Hello, hope this finds all of you well and having a good Monday.  I have a couple of cards to share a couple of cards that I made with the Blue Knight NEW Stamp Through Hummingbird Stencil.    The stencil comes with a thick and thin hummingbird.  The thick one is to use for brushing or sponging over the stencil.  The thin stencil is uses when you want to stamp a scene over the top of brushed stencil.

I used pattern paper and stenciled the hummingbird on top of it.  I started by using the thick hummingbird stencil and  brushed green ink over it.  I used a lace stencil from my collection and used white ink to stencil over the hummingbird.  I stamped the sentiment from the Prayer Flower stamp set in the corner.

I placed the thick Hummingbird stencil over pattern paper and brushed black ink over it.  I used a sentiment from Bible Verses 2 to stamp over the top of the hummingbird.

Thank you, for coming by today.  I sincerely hope you have a safe and fun week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Windmill and Corn

Hello Friends.  Today I am going to share two cards that I made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Windmill and Corn Stamp.  I was really excited when I saw this stamp.  It is definitely a favorite of mine.  It is so easy work with and one could make some cards really fast with this one.

I used the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Designer Paper Night Sky 2 for this card.  I loved how the corn looked on this beautiful paper so I did not use the windmill.  I did not want to take away from the beauty of the paper.

I stamped the corn and the windmill on white card stock.  I used Catherine Pooler inks to create the back ground alone with the Heidi Pettie Reverse Cloud Stencil.  Another really easy card.

I really appreciate you coming by.  Thanks, for the comments, they really make my day.  I hope you will come back and join for my next post.  Have a fabulous week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Forest Animals-Fox

Hello Friends.  Monday has rolled around once again and it is time for me to do my Blue Knight Rubber Stamps post.  Today I am going to show you a couple of cards I made using the  silhouette Forest Animals- Fox Stamps.  This set not only has Foxes,  it has bears and rabbits, too.  There are a total of 8 animals in this set.   I love having stamps that can add to my scenes.

I stamped my Tree Swing image and colored it using Copic Markers.  I used my Silhouette Forest Animals-Fox and I couldn't resist adding some balloons from the Six Hot Air Balloons stamps.  I used the  Six Hot Balloons dies to cut them out.  I also added a sentiment from the One Line Sentiments-Did You Know.  I used Day & Night Pan Pastels and a Heidi Pettie Reverse Cloud Stencil to make my sky.

This card was pretty easy to make using the Blue Knight Day Sky 2 Designer Paper.  I stamped my Pines and Distant Mountains image directly on the designer paper.  I colored the mountains and the grass with Copic Markers. I added in my fox from the Forest Animals set.

I hope you enjoyed the cards and that you will join me again next week for another post from Blue Knight. Have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight - Silhouette Dancing Girls

Hello, Friends.  Monday has rolled around once more and it is time for me to share some cards that I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Silhouette Dancing Girls.

This card was started by choosing a piece of Blue Knight Designer Paper Night.  I Stamped my Silhouette Dancing Girls and sentiment directly on the designer paper.  I cut the mats and adhered everything to the card base.

My second card was started just like the first card, I just chose to use a piece of light pink designer paper for it.  I stamped my dancing girl and sentiment on it.  I adhered all my cards pieces to the card base to finish it up.

It does not get any easier than this.  Both cards were fun to make and did not require a lot of time.

I am happy you came by to look at my cards.  I hope you will come back soon.  Have a great week.

Paper Cupcakes and Blue Knight

Hello and Happy Sunday to you.  Hope you all are having a very enjoyable and restful day.  I have been playing at my craft table today and for much of the week.  It has been a while since I worked on random cards.  I have so many images that are stamped and some are colored.  Some has been there for years.  I took some of those images and made them into cards.

The first two cards are Paper Cupcakes digital stamps. Paper Cupcakes was the first company that I designed for.  I loved the stamps.  Paper Cupcakes closed several years ago.  I decided this week, I was going to use two of their images.

I made this card for a Splitcoaststampers Challenge this week.  I love turquoise and orange together.

I always loved this image.  I suppose it would have to be for someone going through breast cancer of for someone that has a birthday that has had breast cancer.  I am open to other suggestions of uses for this card.

I had this Blue Knight image (Flowering Vine) already stamped on the designer paper.  I decided to color the flowers and the vines.  The outer layering die cut was laying on my table so I grabbed a stencil to use on it and stamped on a sentiment.  I like the way it came out.

Thank you, for taking a look at my cards.  I will be back tomorrow for another posting of my weekly Blue Knight Cards.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Forest Animals Raccoons

Good morning, everyone.  Hope this find you ready to hear about some new stamps, today.  I am using the Silhouette Tree and Eagles stamps today.

I stamped my main image on a piece of Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Day Sky 2 designer paper.              I attached this panel to the mats and card base.  Believe it or not, that is all I had to do to make this
beautiful card.

This card was made the same as the card above.  The only difference is that I used a piece of designer paper from my stash for this one.

Thanks, so much, for stopping by to look at my cards today.

Beauty Shop Babes

Hello Friends,  Surprise, I am posting another card this week.  I made this cute card for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  I do not play  many challenges there anymore and I always enjoyed it.  This week, I decided to play and I think I have played four this week.  One is not posted yet.

Here is my first card.  The featured stamper was Yo Sam aka Shelly.  Shelly and I were first on line friends when we met on Splitcoaststampers.  It happened that she and her husband  moved within 25 miles of me. Shelly and I got acquainted, we started getting together and making cards.  I stamped off some of her images so I wanted to use one of them to use when casing her card.  She had a card that was a 60's theme. I decided to use this Beauty Shop Babes image.  Her sister is one of the ladies under the hairdryer so I thought it definitely should be the image that I used.

Today on Splitcoaststampers I made a card for their Sketch Challenge.  I was quite proud of myself for choosing paper from my scraps and using a already colored image that has been in my stash for at least 10 years.  Just guessing on that.  I am posting the sketch  and my card below.  My card is not exact, but you can tell I did use some of the same shapes.

If any of you have never gone to Splitcoaststampers, I want to invite you over.  It really is a lot of fun.  Not only does it encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, you meet a lot of nice ladies that becomes your friends.   If you come over, I am wannabcr8tive, give me a shout and let me know you are there.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I hope you have a good day.

This was another quick card.  I stamped my image directly on a Hobby Lobby paper with Birch Trees on it.  I was unable to get a picture that looked as good as the card.  I really liked the way it turned out.

The second card was as easy as the first one.  I stamped the image directly on the Blue Knight  Night Designer paper.

Blue Knight Silhouette Mountain River

Good Morning, Friends.  I hope you are all well and having a Happy New Year's Day.  I did not make any New Year's Resolutions.  I decided that I never seemed to keep them in the past so why bother making more when I had failed to do it in the past.    Okay, so enough about my failures, let's get on with card making.  ~smile~

Today I am showcasing two cards made with the Blue Knight Silhouette Mountain River which is one of the newest releases.

I started my card by stamping the image on white card stock.  I colored the river with Copic Markers.  I masked the sun and sponged the clouds with the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.   I  stamped my Flocks of Birds in the sky and then stamped the small boat from the Gone Fishin' stamp.

I made this card like the first one omitting the sun and boat to show you how you could make a more subtle card for a sympathy card.  I stamped the image on the Day Designer Paper.   I added the sentiment from the Bible Verse 2 stamp set.

Thank you, for stopping bt today.  Have a good week.
