Welcome to Day One of Mark's Finest Paper Blog Hop. Today we are showcasing the new set called "Fantastic Dogs". I knew when I saw this set, I was going to have some fun with it. Not only does it have these sweet little dog images, the sentiments are cute, too. I bet these puppies would like to get a treat out of the canister, but the lid is on really tight. ~grin~ I know the puppies in my household love when they hear me rattle the lid on the treat jar. I suppose this could be either a treat canister or a fire hydrant. It is interesting how we all see things differently. Be sure and hop along with us today to see what the design team has prepared. Remember the more you comment, the better your chances of winning one of the new stamps sets. Good Luck.

What a fantastic creation Shirley ! I looove the shape and the ribbon is so cool ! Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteVery creative - treat jar, biscuit tin, fridge - they always respond even from the bottom of the garden! Great card.
ReplyDeleteMan, Shirt! If those pups knock this treat jar over, they're gonna have a belly ache! Fantasti coloring on the dogs; adorable card!!!
ReplyDeleteYour treat tin also reminds me (with a few small changes ) of a red fire hydrant!! Sure would be a big target for them when they had to go out! For now, though, they are patiently waiting for a treat - there's always plenty at your house!! Adorable pups and great punch art on the canister!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an eye catching card! Really cute!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha....I had to laugh at Sue's comment as my mind thought it was a fire hydrant, too until I read your blurb! A fire hydrant treat jar. Your coloring is really beautiful! Welcome aboard.
ReplyDeleteOh I love the hydrant Good job....Lis
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! What a clever card. You need to do a tutorial on how to make that fire hydrant. Welcome to the team.
ReplyDeleteHow darn cute !!!! What a cute idea!!! I need to remember this!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBoy, Girlfriend, you aced your first day of your first blog hop! This treat jar is so perfect and your puppies are colored perfectly. I know they're being good waiting on you to open up the lid on the jar!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. What a great picture of you! I think that's from Jason's wedding??
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the SR team!!!! Super cute card!!!! Love the red and the dogs eagerly awaiting their treat! I have cats and our little Storm does not sit patiently waiting...she does this whole little food dance!!! Cracks me up....Our middle age cat...just sits patiently waiting!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! My first thought was a fire hydrant, but now that I look at it closer, there are no "water connections" -- so treat jar it is!!! Very creative, Shirley. You certainly lived up to you SCS name.
ReplyDeleteI love this card. such a cute idea!

ReplyDeleteLove, love this card! Your coloring is fabulous! The hydrant is a fantastic background for these adorable dogs!!!! And hydrant or treat jar, in dog language "It's all good!"
ReplyDeleteCute card! I saw a fire hydrant first, but the cannister makes sense to me too.
ReplyDeleteShirley, what an adorably cute card. I Love it to bits. I know what you mean about dogs coming running I only have to shift the treat jar on the bench and they pop out of nowhere beside me. cheers Linda
