Well, now, your duck seems to have a slight smile on his face- guess he likes being the star of your card - framing him out in the gorgeous square die and the beautiful spray of roses on the corner - this card is so colorful and the lace turns it into elegant!!

ReplyDeleteHi Shirley! As you well know I am about the world's worst procrastinator… so I'm just now getting around to commenting on your work on last week's blog hop projects. Please forgive me for taking so long, and for squishing a week's worth of comments into one big bunch! I came back to look at your Foo Dog card again and I think you did such a great job. I love the blue and orange combination. I was never crazy about orange but it's really starting to grow on me when combined with blue or purple. I love love love your Birds of the Orient cards. The way you combined stamps on the top card is incredible. You must be a masking expert! How did you make the clouds? Or is that preprinted paper? Your Birdcages card is awesome. I love all the visual interest with the doily, the die cuts, textures, and patterns. And of course, your bird is adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou hit it out of the park with your Medallion cards. I really like the way you used it as a background texture to the "I love you" heart on your second card. Did you mask and embossed it? Or how did you get it to look that way? Sorry… I'm full of questions today! Your Fairy card is so pretty! I love how you framed each layer in black. It really sets things off. And I really like the skewed center section… so cool! You may be seeing me steal… ummm borrow that idea soon! I am in love with your Duck card. I can't even imagine how you took something as plain and simple at the little duck, and made it so incredibly elegant!! Awesome job!!
