Hi, Everyone. I hope you are having a great week. I don't know about you, but my week seems to have just flown by.
Today I am sharing a card I made for the Splitcoast Challenge which was to make a sea worthy card. I used stamps by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. ( Misty Mountains, Mini Greetings 1 and Beach Chairs and accessories) I colored the image with copics and did a little sponging on the water. I used the die Lacey Tiers by Just Rite.
I would love to have used rhinestones or pearls on the die cut, but since it is going to a guy, I thought I would leave it plain.
When I look at this peaceful view, it makes me think I might like to sail away and leave my troubles behind. How about you?
Thanks, so much, for coming by today.
Gorgeous card Shirley! I love how you colored it...I think I would love to sail away too! Beautiful die, too!

What a serene setting this stamp offers! The frame was a great way to show off this image, and the colors you used are so restful and calming. Great answer to the challenge here, Shirley!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Like Sue said in her comment above mine...Such a serene card...feel more peaceful just looking at the card!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Shirley and I'd like to put my moles on your boat and see them sail away into the sunset!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great scene you've created - so peaceful and serene, and I love the soft colors too.
