Pinecone in Frame

Hello Everyone,  I have a Christmas cards to share with you today. a little Christmas in August.
I used the Pinecone in a Frame by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

On the first card, I stamped the image on gold dotted designer paper.   Next I colored my pinecone and  greenery with Copic Markers.  I stamped the sentiment in red and matted my card.  I was afraid the gold dots might be a little much, but I like the way the gold dots show up on the pinecone.

The only thing I did different on the second card was to use different designer paper.  I thought this paper gave it a Country Christmas look.

Here is an extra card I did using traditional colors on plain white card stock.

You can find more cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps on the Blue Knight Blog and the Fans Facebook Page.   If you like tutorials, visit the  You Tube Channel.  Here is the link to the Blue Knight Store.

I am happy you dropped by today.  Come back, real soon.

  3. All three of these make excellent Christmas cards with your combo of colors for the layers. I am a bit partial to the "country Christmas " one in the middle - love that warm DP you used for the background and the gold on the pinecone
