The Speedy Fox and Friends challenge today is to make a card that relates to the letter G.
Can you guess what word that starts with a G that I chose to use? Your exactly right - Grunge.
G is for Grunge. Now don't ask me why Grunge came to my mind because I do not do Grunge well.
It took me forever to figure out what I was going to do with my card for a Grungy look. I decided to use the Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called Train Talk. I used drywall tape and sponged over it with navy ink, pumpkin pie and vintage photo inks. I had a piece of burlap on my craft table from a card I had made the week before. I decided it had the same pattern as the tape so I thought it would be good to add it to my card. Then it needed something else to make it complete so out came the buttons from my button tin. I hope you enjoyed seeing the card, I enjoyed doing it once I figured out how to grunge up my card. ReplyDeleteLove the image and your grunge look is perfect!!! Wonderful card - I so love trains (I live about 1/4 mile from the tracks and hear the trains all day and night - they comfort me). So nice to talk to you tonight! Hugz!
