Speedy Fox and Friends - Farm Scene

Today's challenge over at Speedy Fox and Friends is to make a Farm scene.  I chose to use the
Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called "Flaps my Wattles".  I used raffia to make it look like straw, sponged clouds and dirt, and  I added some flowers to give it a little extra zip.

I hope you can find some time to join us for the challenge.  Thanks, for coming by today.

  6. Your down home feel with the raffia and "dirt" looks so genuinely country - love the doodled checked paper for your background - and the fun sentiment for a birthday laugh! Hugs!

  9. Shirley, this is super fun! Hope it is going to a young person as if it was going to me I am only too aware of how true the sentiment is! LOL! I turn 53 this Friday and as I get closer I am feeling more and more like 63- I have got to start exercising so I can at least act more like a Spring chicken than a Winter one! Great card with great details and fun colors! Hugz!
