Speedy Fox and Friends have a challenge this week called "Rain". That means you can make a card with something related to rain. I thought of rain drops and umbrella's. I used the "Rain Clouds" stamp set by Mark's Finest Paper.
I hope you have beautiful weather this weekend and the rain clouds stay away. We are hoping for clear skies in our neck of the woods. My hubby is hoping to get on the race track and try out his new car. The race track cancelled the last two weeks due to rain. He is super excited that so far it looks like it will be dry. Now as the spectator, I am hoping for a warmer night than what we have been having.
Have a great weekend.
Love the paper piecing and striking colour combo.

ReplyDeleteFabulous colors! Cute raindrop embellishment on your ribbon! Love this! I hope hubby has fun on the track and you stay warm! :)
ReplyDeleteMorning, Shirley, and hoping the sunshine is filling your world this weekend - unlike your rainy day card! That paper pieced umbrella and raindrops cn just STAY on your card, though they really look great in the colors you used! I really think the ribbon and raindrops down the side are a sweet embellishment, and the way you stamped RAIN all the way around the umbrella ! Cute card!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Love your raindrop border and love your paper!!! Beautiful paper pieced umbrella too!
