Here are two cards I made yesterday for the Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoast Stamping. The technique was to use q-tips to make your card. Here is a link to the
video on how to stamp with Q-tips. I used the
Blue Knight-grazing horse stamp. I knew the trees would be perfect to paint with Q-tips after stamping it on my card stock. This stamp set has three stamps in it. One is the tree, one is a cover for the tree which puts leaves on it. The third one is a small stamp with tree leave on it. The first card was made with the leaf cover and the second one is just the tree. Here is a picture of the stamp set:
Now you can see the three stamps that I was trying to explain. Note that the stamps come on this nice cling background. The front of it has a nice colored picture of the image. Basically, the front gives you an idea of how to color the image.
Thanks, for coming by to visit. It is always good to see you.
Great stamp set and so clever. Both your cards are unique and wonderful. Love the fun technique which has produced a stunning effect x.
ReplyDeleteBoth great cards-love the silhouette stamps and Q tip technique-I once asked in a shop were the qtips were both staff looked at each other and then said they didn't know what I meant-when I described them they said oh cotton buds???
