Q-tip Stamping


Here are two cards I made yesterday for the Technique Lovers Challenge on Splitcoast Stamping.   The technique was to use q-tips to make your card.  Here is a link to the video on how to stamp with Q-tips.  I used the  Blue Knight-grazing horse stamp.  I knew the trees would be perfect to paint with Q-tips after stamping it on my card stock.    This stamp set has three stamps in it.  One is the tree, one is a cover for the tree which puts leaves on it.  The third one is a small stamp with tree leave on it.  The first card was made with the leaf cover and the second one is just the tree.  Here is a picture of the stamp set:


Now you can see the three stamps that I was trying to explain.  Note that the stamps come on this nice cling background.  The front of it has a nice colored picture of the image.  Basically, the front gives you an idea of how to color the image.

  2. Both great cards-love the silhouette stamps and Q tip technique-I once asked in a shop were the qtips were both staff looked at each other and then said they didn't know what I meant-when I described them they said oh cotton buds???
