This week the challenge for the Speedy Fox blog is to make a card using gesso or white acrylic paint. I have to tell you this was a huge step out of my comfort zone. It only took me two days to think, worry and finally it came together. I have no idea how many times I walked away from working on this card. I do like the end results of this card. I started out with a piece of cardboard from a saltine cracker box. I put 2 coats of gesso on it. I sponged on some ink, smeared some gelatos on it, sprayed some water (way too much to be exact) on it, then I use some drywall tape and sculpting paste. When the paste dried, I used more gelatos and ink over the top of my card base. The ribbon is made from strings I pulled from my burlap stash. I used Mark's Finest Paper stamps "Asian Delights" and "Umbrellas and Fans".
Thanks, for stopping by today.
