Squigglefly - Thank You

The Squigglefly challenge for today is to make a thank you card.  I needed one for a neighbor who brought us wood for the stove in our barn.  We were lucky he cut down a few trees and we are now well stocked on wood.   I decided to make a sunburst card and I used the Squigglefly image "Happy Beaver" by Fawn Palmer.  This was the perfect image for my card.  Come on over to our blog and join us for the challenge and see what my "teamie's"have created.

We also have a new artist, Enid Barnes, at Squigglefly.  Her images are realistic and are done in an artistic technique called pointillism.   I used her Ostrich and Boxer image on the cards below.  She has some other really cute images that are now debuting in the Squigglefly store.

A big portion of the U.S. is suppose to have snow and  frigid weather this week.  If you are like me and in the deep freeze, be careful and stay warm.   Thanks, for coming by today.

  1. Boy, are you on the ball with these challenges, Shirley!!

This "Thanks for the wood" card is perfect with the sunburst of papers around this adorable beaver image - you could not have picked a more fitting image. Love how you gave your card some texture with the embossed brown scalloped strip!

This "old bird" card is sure to get a chuckle out of whoever receives it - your colorful BG paper with the rick rick and button down the side gives it extra character! Love the look on that old bird's face!

This lovable looking boxer image just warmed my heart - he is the picture of "Love", and the subtle blue and brown just bring out his eyes - great card to say I am thinking of you!

Great cards from the frozen Midwest - ya gotta do smething to stay warm, and you are really heating things up here!

    HuGS!
