Classy Cards N Such - An Apple A Day Challenge

The challenge for the Classy Cards N Such blog challenge is to draw inspiration from the  colors of the Apple A day Challenge picture.  You can add an apple to your project if you like.

These little apple cookies look yummy.  I drew inspiration from the plaid  and the heart cookies.  The plaid is from the Darice Plaid Embossing Folder.   The hearts were from a small heart punch that I have.  The stems were cut with the Memory Box Tall Chloe Stem die.

The flower die is Secret Garden 1 Dee's Distintive die.   This is the first time I used it and I like the flowers.

For full details of my card, please go to the blog.

Please join us for the challenge.   Here is the prize that is being offered this week:

Other dies used:

Impression Obsession Birdhouse dies
Sue Wilson Filigree 3D Itty Bitty Bow
Memory Box Puffy Clouds die
Impression Obsession Grass Border
Poppy Stamps Country Fence

  2. Those cookies sure look mighty tempting, Shirley - a terrific jumping off point for your sweet card today!! Love that you chose the plaid for your inspiration because the EF makes a great BG for the pink and green of the chloe flowers - great idea to make your fence taller - now you can add "builder" to your resume!! Love the tiny hearts and the dainty bow on the bottom - a perfect signature to your card!
