The challenge for the Classy Cards N Such blog challenge is to draw inspiration from the colors of the Apple A day Challenge picture. You can add an apple to your project if you like.
These little apple cookies look yummy. I drew inspiration from the plaid and the heart cookies. The plaid is from the Darice Plaid Embossing Folder. The hearts were from a small heart punch that I have. The stems were cut with the Memory Box Tall Chloe Stem die.
The flower die is Secret Garden 1 Dee's Distintive die. This is the first time I used it and I like the flowers.
For full details of my card, please go to the blog.
Please join us for the challenge. Here is the prize that is being offered this week:
Other dies used:
Impression Obsession Birdhouse dies
Sue Wilson Filigree 3D Itty Bitty Bow
Memory Box Puffy Clouds die
Impression Obsession Grass Border
Poppy Stamps Country Fence
Your card is gorgeous Shirley ! Love the fresh colours ! Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteThose cookies sure look mighty tempting, Shirley - a terrific jumping off point for your sweet card today!! Love that you chose the plaid for your inspiration because the EF makes a great BG for the pink and green of the chloe flowers - great idea to make your fence taller - now you can add "builder" to your resume!! Love the tiny hearts and the dainty bow on the bottom - a perfect signature to your card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, Shirley!! I love the colors!! The scene you've created is so gorgeous!! I love, love this!! Love your take on the inspiration photo, too!! Have a great day :)
