Valentine for the Tea Pot Party

Here is a card I made for the tea pot challenge this week.   I love the color combo of red, black and white which is so perfect for a Valentine.   The dp I used is from a 6X6 pad of Paper Studio paper.
I love the red and black dots on it.

I made this card for I made for the tea pot party two weeks ago.   It is a CAS card, but I really like the simplicity of it.   I used a Our Daily Bread stamp set for it.

Speedy Fox - Doodle a Frame

Another Saturday has rolled around and Speedy Fox and Friends have another challenge ready - doodle a frame.   I really like cards with doodling on them even though I am not good at doodling.    I chose to use the Mark's Finest paper stamp set called "I'm in Stitches".   I hope you will come on over to Speedy Fox and Friends and join us for our challenge today.  I would love to see your doodling.

CCEE - Punch the Clock Day

Punch the clock day is coming up on the 27th.  Did you know there was a punch the clock day?  I didn't until I saw the CCEE Stampers challenge for this week.    Joanne is our hostess and she has challenged us to make masculine card with some connection to time or clocks.  I have a clock on mine.   I chose to use my nearly almost unused Tim Holtz stamp set and Graphic 45 paper.    I know this looks like a easy card and now that it is made, it is.   It took me two days to figure out what to do to make my card presentable.  I have to tell you this style is totally out of my comfort zone.   I hope you will join us for the challenge today.

Squigglefly Inchies

Here it is, time for another Squigglefly challenge given by Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals.    Use inchies on your card this week.  I decided to use plain inchies with dp and use this Squigglefly image called "Buddies" by Lynne Stansbery.   I do love Lynne's images.  They are really easy to color with the way she shades them.  I hope you will come over to  Squigglefly  to link up your card with inches, maybe you will be the lucky winner of a Squigglefly  image.

Wine and Grapes

This is a card I entered in the featured stamper challenge over at Split Coast and the  Outlawz  CAS challenge.   The twist to the challenge was to add a drink like coffee, tea, soda, lemonade, wine, etc..     I chose to use this Squigglefly image by Lynne Stansberry called "Wine and Grapes".    I absolutely love Lynne's images and if you notice, I color up a lot of her awesome images.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Use Twine

Welcome to Day One of Mark's Finest Paper Blog Hop.   Today we are showcasing the new set called "Fantastic Dogs".    I knew when I saw this set, I was going to have some fun with it.   Not only does it have these sweet little dog images, the sentiments are cute, too.  I bet these puppies would like to get a treat out of the canister, but the lid is on  really tight.  ~grin~  I know the puppies in my household love when they hear me rattle the lid on the treat  jar.     I suppose this could be either a treat canister or a fire hydrant.  It is interesting how we all see things differently.   Be sure and hop along with us today to see what the design team has prepared.   Remember the more you comment, the better your chances of winning one of the new stamps sets.   Good Luck.

Winter Blues

It's MONDAY.  That means it is time for the  Squigglefly challenge.   The challenge theme is winter time blues.    Make a card that is blue or wintery or both.    

Speedy Fox and Friends-Make it Move

Here we are for another Saturday Speedy Fox and Friends challenge.  This week we have been challenged to make a  card that has something on it that moves.   It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do and finally I decided on a spinner card.  Thankfully, this one spins really well, the last one I made did not move freely.    I chose to use this new stamp set that will be available in the Mark's Finest Paper Store on Tuesday, called "Oh, Baby".  My friend's daughter is having a baby boy in March and I thought this would work perfectly for a card for the baby shower.    Jump on board and play this challenge with us.  I would love to see what moves on your card.  Check out the nice stamp set over at   Speedy Fox and Friends that they will give to one lucky winner for entering this challenge.   Come back next week for the blog hop to see all the new sets that will debut.

Mark's Finest Paper Sneak Peek - In My Den

 Here is a card I made with the Mark's Finest Paper set "In my Den".  I love the look of paper piecing and this paper was perfect for the chair.  This set will be in the Mark's store next week along with 5 other new sets.  Stay tuned for our Blog Hop starting next Tuesday.

Dogs are Funny Little Kids-CCEE-Outlawz

This card was made for an Outlawz  greeting's card challenge and the rules are to use brads and something new.  We were suppose to tell what we used that was new.  The little pearl brads are new and I chose to use this new Squigglefly image by Lynne Stansbery called "My Doggie".   I thought it was just adorable.  As you all probably know, I love dogs.  I added a Viva Las Vegas stamp for the sentiment.    Dogs really are just funny little kids, aren't they?

This card is also for this week's CCEE Stampers challenge. We were to use a new tool.  I used a new digital image.

Squigglefly - Thank You

Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals have a new challenge over at Squigglefly today.   The challenge is to make

Speedy Fox - Recycled Christmas card

The challenge over at Speedy Fox today is to recycle part of a Christmas card.    I recycled the front cover of a card that we received this year and added my Santa from the MFP " Holly Jolly" stamp set.
I know exactly who I will send this card to next year, too.  ~smile~    Santa seems a little short so I hope there is a step stool in that little house.  Ha ha.  I am not sure if you can read the sentiment, it says "I finally figured out how you get Santa to stop at your house every year."  I hope you will go through your Christmas cards and  find something on one that you might want to recycle then come over to  Speedy Fox  Blog and join us for the challenge.
