Blue Knight Anything, But A Card

Hello, Stamping Friends.  Today I made a gift bag for the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Blog.    Our challenge for this week was to make anything, but a card.  This is the first gift bag I have made.   I started out with a brown paper lunch sack.  I layered card stock and designer paper on the lower part of the sack.  On the top part I used a scalloped die to cut scallops with the same papers.  I stamped my wreath image (Thank You Wreath) on white card stock and used a circle die to cut it out.  I added a scalloped layer behind it following with another white circle to complete my layers.  My image was colored using Copics.  I used dimensionals to attach my image to my gift bag.  I put glaze on the bee's wings.  I stamped my bee image  from the  Honey Bee and Sunflower stamp set and colored it with Copics. I fussy cut the bee from the flower image.   To finish off my bag,  I used white tulle to make a bow to tie down the flap of the bag.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I hope to see you again real soon.

Winter Friends

I am so far behind on Christmas cards so I am happy that I got one more made this morning, thanks, to a challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  I don't know if you can tell, but I absolutely love this cute stamp set by Blue Knight called Winter Buddies.  You will be seeing me use it a lot more.  There are just so many color combos that I can use on those scarves. ~grin~  More cards to come, I bet.

I used Copics to color the images.  The sky was made with turquoise ink,  the Heidi Pettie
cloud stencil and a sponge dauber.  Easy peasy.

Thanks, for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Barnyard Birthday

Today I am sharing a card I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I used the Barnyard Gate and  I'll never stop believing stamp sets.    For the month of October the Blue Knight design team was challenged to combine stamps.  I was suppose to use the I'll Never Stop Believing set and I decided to pair it with barnyard gate.  I loved the finished product.  I think this little gal is having a great birthday party in the barn.  I can visualize birthday decorations inside and places set up for birthday games.  Oh, wait, there is a cute little pony with braida and ribbons all saddled up waiting to give pony rides.

This was a fun card to make.  I hope you enjoyed seeing it.

I colored the image with copics and sponged the clouds using the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.

Looks like it is going to be a rainy and stormy day in my neck of the woods.  Lots of rain and wind. The weather radio woke me up early this morning so I might have to catch a nap later.  :)

Have a great day and I hope you have some nice weather in your neighborhood.

Woof

I  love this sweet little pup that is from Sweet & Sassy.  It is really old, it actually was a digital stamp.  I lost this image when lightening crashed my computer and I didn't have it backed up.
Anyway, I had colored this image years ago and I decided to use it on a card for a Splitcoast Stampers challenge.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The paper is old, too, but like the pup, I didn't tire of it either.  ~smile~

Mountain Scenes

Here are two cards I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Mountain Scene and theMama Bear and Friends Set.  The sentiment on the snow globe came from the Come Let Us Adore Him stamp set.  I colored my mountains using Copics.  The sky on both cards were made using Pan Pastels.

Don't forget the Fans Of Blue Knight Challenge is still going on.

Tiger Swallow Tail Butterfly and Window On The Wall

Hello, Stamping Friends.   I am sharing a card with you that is being shared on the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Blog today.  Our challenge for the month of October was to combine stamp sets.  The stamp set I was assigned to use today was the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly.  This set comes with two butterfly images, I used the large one.  My butterfly was stamped on water color paper and it was colored using Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  I love the vivid colors.  I fussy cut the butterfly and decorated it with blue and purple pearls.   I chose the Window in the Wall stamp set to use with the butterfly.  I colored my image using Copics and added the butterfly.  My Sentiment is from the Mini Greetings 1 stamp set.

Thanks, for stopping by today.  Have a great week.

Blue Knight Thank You Wreath Plus One More Set

Hi, Stampers.    This month our design team challenge was to use an assigned stamp set and add a random image from another  set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  What a fun challenge.  The Thank You Wreath was the assigned stamp I used on this card.  It was a little difficult to find and image that did not take away from the beautiful wreath.  I finally decided on the small butterfly from the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly stamp set.   I stamped the wreath using brown VersaMark Ink.   I colored my images using Copics.  I really love the blue-green color.   The sentiment is from the Bible Verse 2 stamp set.  This is one of my most "go to" sentiments.  It is so perfect for someone who is sick or having a difficult time in life.

Are you a fan of Blue Knight Rubber Stamps on Facebook?  If not, please come and join us.  There is a challenge using the Blue Knight stamps this month for the Fans.    The prize to the winner is a stamp set of your choice from Blue Knight and a stamp platform.  If you do not have a stamp platform yet,  I can tell you they are great.  I love mine.   And-----if you do have a stamp platform, it is always good to have a spare just in case the first one breaks.  Believe it or not, they do break sometimes.  Full details for this challenge is posted on the Facebook page.

I don't know if you combine your stamps, but it is a fun thing to do.   It definitely helps one to grow in card making.  I love challenges.  They  can make us think outside the little box we work in.  My little box has lots of room for growing.

Thanks, once again, for taking the time to come by and take a look at my card.  I hope you were able to find some inspiration.  Have a wonderful day.

Meet Me At The Docks in Blue

Here is another card I made using the Meet Me At The Docks stamp set by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I colored the sky using pan pastels.  I love the purple clouds mixed with the blue.
