Bridge Over Waterfalls

Hello Friends, hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are all rested up for a new week.  Thankfully, the new week is warmer than it was last week.  Yesterday, it got up to 50 degrees and started raining so the snow is melting.  Seriously, I will not miss the snow.  :)

No photo description available.

For the first card, I stamped my Bridge Over Waterfalls  image on white card stock.  I colored the image using my Copic Markers. I used turquoise ink and a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil to make the puffy clouds.  I cut the mats and adhered them to my card base.

May be an image of text that says 'Happy Birthday Quarry'

My second card was made basically the same way as card #1 with the exception that I created the sky using Pan Pastels Sunrise and Sunset Pallette.  The sentiment was stamped using the Sentiment Mini Greetings #2 and I also added a sentiment using the Mini Greetings 2.

Thank you, for coming by to visit my blog today.  All visits and comments are much appreciated.

Seaside Treasure Hunt

Hello, Friends.  Hope this finds you all well and staying warm.  It has been really cold in my neck of the woods with ice on the ground all week and it is has not been warm enough to thaw any.  Suppose to be getting a good amount of snow for the next couple of days. According to the weather, it will be 40 degrees on Saturday so we will look forward to the heat wave.  :)

Today I will be sharing a couple of cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called Seaside Treasure Hunt.

For my first card, I stamped my image on white card stock.    I colored the water with a Copic Marker. The sky was created using the
Pan Pastel Sunrise and Sunset Pallette.
I used the Wispy Sky technique by Lynn Anderson.
I love this technique.

For this card, I stamped the image and then created the water and the sky using Pan Pastels-Sunrise and Sunset and Day and Night Palettes.

As you can see, blogger hates me.  I am unable to get it to cooperate.  It doesn't matter how many times I try to get the description of the first card to do a left alignment, it does not change.  My print is all suppose to be the same, but it is not.  At least it is not doing the crazy double spacing that it sometimes does.  I keep hoping this will get better, but I am starting to doubt it.

I appreciate you coming by today to check out my cards.  Have a great week.

Double Trouble -Twins

Hello, Everyone.  I hope you all had a great weekend and are staying well.  It was a cold weekend at my house.  We got an inch of snow last night.  I look forward to  Spring and a lot of nice sunshine to go with it.  I miss being able to sit outside in the gazebo.  It is my way of relaxing.  I am thankful that we are having more daylight hours.  I dislike darkness at 5 P.M..

Today I am sharing cards using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called "Twins".    I have a new neighbor next door that has twin girls so this set made me think of them.  I just had to color them pink in honor of those sweet little gals and for the fact, that I do like pink.  I cut the mats, stamped the image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I adhered the layers and then attached them to the card base.  I enjoyed working with the designer paper which is something I like doing when I can work it in.  I do have enough dp to last me two to three life times.

For the second card, I did the same thing I did with the first card, but I colored it in blues.  I didn't want to slight the baby boys today.  I did use a dotted embossing folder on one of the mats and I decided to turn it a little.  I added hearts and the sentiment to complete this card.

I certainly appreciate you coming by today to check out my work.  I hope you will come back again, soon.  It is always a pleasure to see you.

Chickadee on a Fence Post

Hello, Friends.  I have a couple of cards to share with you today using a new stamp from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called Chickadee on a Fence Post.

For the first card, I cut my mats and stamped my image on white card stock.  I colored the image with Copic Markers and the sky was made using Sunrise & Sunset Pan Pastels.  I adhered my mats to the card base to complete my card.

The second card was made the same as the first, but I chose different colors for the flowers and the sky was made using a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and turquoise ink.

I made a card over the weekend with this set to send out as a sympathy card.  I stamped the fence post on the outside side of the envelope and it looked really pretty.  I wish I had thought to take a picture of it to show you.

Thanks, to all of you who made comments and suggestions to help me with my blog issues.  So far, I do not have a fix, but I can make do with the way it is.  It is so crazy because it sure messes up a lot.  For this blog post, I started out typing my blog and when I went to add the picture of the card, I centered it.  Then when I put in left alignment for the text, it kept centering it when I had chose left alignment.  I had to erase the new text and the picture of the card.  I went back to original text that I had put in and typed my second paragraph and went back and added the card picture in between the paragraphs.  It is unreal that this change in the interface could present so many problems.

I appreciate you all coming by today and thank you for all the nice comments you leave. Have a wonderful week.
