Marilyn's Lighthouse

This card was made using Our Daily Bread/Divinity Stamps - Keep My Lamp Burning.  I have always loved this lighthouse and I finally purchased it a few months ago.  I decided it was time to use it.   The background was made with my Gelli Plate and Acrylic Paints.

I will be back tomorrow with a Blue Knight Rubber Stamps card.

Blue Knight Stamps Release Party - Day 5 - Panda Bear

Today is the last day of the blog hop and it has been a fun week.  I have enjoyed designing with the new Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  Today I have made a card for you that I made with the new
Loveable Panda.  This little guy is adorable.  I stamped him on card stock using my Misti.  I used copics to color the tree.  I used a template to sponge the clouds using tempting turquoise ink.  I think the little bear looks pretty  happy up there among the clouds.

This might be the last day of the hop, but keep coming by,  I will continue to have more cards made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps in the days to come.

Have a safe and fun weekend.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Release Party - Day 4

Today I am showcasing the new "Dancing in the Rain" stamp set by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This little gal looks like she is having a great time splashing in the puddles.  The minute I saw this stamp - paper piecing and primary colors came to my mind so that is what I went with.  As you can see, I paper pieced the little girl's jacket using red polka dot paper.  If you haven't ever paper pieced, it is fun and looks cute.  Just stamp your image on patterned paper and and cut out the part you want to use, add adhesive and apply to your image.  I punched a yellow heart to add to the umbrella.  The image was colored with copics.  I added glaze to the raindrops, but it does not show up in the picture.

My second card was colored with copics.  No paper piecing on this one.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Release Party - Day 3

This is one of my favorite sets of the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps new release.   It is called,
"Coffee Makes Me".   The cup is so pretty and the sentiment made me smile.  Coffee definitely makes me more tolerable, just ask my husband.  ~grin~

Today you will want to go to Nancy's You Tube Channel to see her card.  You will find the link in the details below.  Be sure to leaver her a comment so you will have another chance to win the stamp sets.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Release Party - Day 2

My first card was made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Multiple Motorcycles.  The set consists of three stamps.  I chose to use the largest one for my card.  I used a background from my stash that was made with my Gelli Plate and acrylic paint.    I decided I had to make a girly card with this set, lots of gals have their own motorcycles.  The sentiment was computer generated.
This is the male version using the same motorcycle stamp.    The background is a water color wash.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Release Party - Day 1

Here is a card I made using the new Blue Knight Rubber Stamp called Corner Flowers.  There is another flower stamp that goes with this set, but I did not use it for my card today.  This is a different color combo for flowers. (at least for me, it is)  I like the colors, they are happy colors.  We have had a lot of dreary weather so I am liking bright and happy colors even more than normal.

Be sure and check out all the neat new stamps that are in the Blue Knight Store.

Doggone Sick

I made this card for a sick friend.  I had a scrap piece of paper left over from another card so I used it along with pink card stock.  The stamp is "Ruff Day" by Dare 2B Artzy.  The inside sentiment says,
"My tail stopped wagging when  I heard you weren't well".

Thank you, for stopping in today.

Blue Knight Silhouette Wolf

Here is my latest creation using a Blue Knight's Rubber Stamp.  This one is the Silhouette Wolf.
I started out using a polished stone background made with alcohol inks.  I thought the colors in the background were perfect for the silhouette wolf.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps is gearing up for a new release.  They have lots of new stamps.  The week of February 18th will be the blog hop.  They will be giving a couple of prizes out that week.  Be sure to visit my blog that week for more information.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Magical Unicorn

I made this card using a stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called Magical Unicorn.  I colored the image with copics to match the magical background made with Ken Oliver Color Bursts.

The color burst are really easy to use.  I started out with a piece of water color paper.   I squirted the color bursts on the the paper and spritzed with water.  Once you spritz the paper,  you can repeat the process if you want more color.  For this background I used the colors of Ultramarine Blue, Violet and Pthalo Green.

Thank you, for stopping by to check out my card.  Have a great week.
