QKR Stampede Snowy Barn

I made this card for a QKR Stampede blog challenge back in October,  I failed to get it posted on my blog.  The image is "Snowy Barn".    I combined this with a Splitcoast Dendritic technique challenge.    I added some Stamp On It Glitter Film to the top of it to give the unusual look a little sparkle.

Thanks, for dropping by today.

Home Sweet Home

I made this card for the Free 4 All challenge. I made a sentiment and a fence to go with it, but I have a hard time adding them or anything else to a larger image for fear it might take away from it. This little place in the woods looks so peaceful. Not sure I want to live there just in case there are bears that creep around at night. I am scared of my own shadow so I don't think I need to live next door to a bear family.

I used the Blue Knight Rubber stamp called "Little Cabin in the Woods".  I colored it with copics.  The dies I used are by Die-namics-Wonky Stitched Rectangles.

Thanks for stopping by today.   Have a great weekend.

Heeeyyy Rabbit

Here is a card I made for the QKR Stampede Blog.  I used the image Heeeyyy Rabbit.  Looks like this rabbit is all ready for St. Patty's day.    This was also made for a sketch challenge on Splitcoast.
I added a banner at the top and slanted my image which gives it a little different look than the sketch.

Come on over to the QKR Stampede Blog and join in the "Everything Goes" challenge.  We would love to see your cards.

Winter Cabin Snow Globe

Today I am sharing a card made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamp called "A Winter Cabin in the Woods".  I had fun making this one.  It may look like it was hard to color, but it really was not.   The snow was drawn on the trees so I didn't have to do anything to the them other than add some green to them.  The cabin was colored in record time.  I just added a little blue on the snowy roof and colored in the cabin.

I used a Snow Globe die by Our Daily Bread Designs. I went through my stash of paper and found one that went perfectly with the red in the chimney of the cabin.  I added the flower and sentiment to complete the project.

This snow scene is what our area is suppose to be receiving this evening along with ice.  I don't mind the snow so much, but I wish I could cancel the ice storm.  I think I will make some Broccoli Cheese Soup tomorrow which should be perfect for a snowy day.  I made some in the Pressure Cooker last week and it was great.

Thanks, for coming by today and taking a look at my card.

Mr. & Mrs. Turtle are Cold

Hi, how are all of my crafty friends doing?  Very well, I hope.  It has been really cold in much of the US this week.  Our temps have finally warmed up, but now they are calling for freezing rain and snow by the end of the week.  ~frowning~

I made this card for the Dare 2B Artzy blog challenge today and for the Splitcoast color challenge.  I was working on coloring these cute turtles when I decided to see what the challenge was.  The theme is "Winter Wonderland".  I didn't have any Dare 2 BArtzy winter stamps and I wanted to use their stamps.  I had to put my thinking cap on for this one. Finally I came up with if it's a winter wonderland, then the turtles must be cold and Mr. Turtle wants to snuggle with Mrs. Turtle to keep her warm. :) Hopefully I won't get disqualified for this one.

Thank you, for stopping by and I hope you got a chuckle out of Mr. And Mrs. Turtle.

It's a Summer Barnyard Scene

It is another cold day here in my neighborhood so I am sharing a scene from the barnyard in summer.  I need to see some green grass and a blue sky even it is just on my card.  :)  I planned around the birds that was on a mug from Sponge Designs which was chosen for the Inspiration challenge on Splitcoast.   I used stamps from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.   The sets I used are Barnyard Gate, Birds 2 and Good Morning Rooster.

I hope you enjoyed your visit here today.  Come back soon.

Patchwork Stars

Here is a card that I created for the QKR Stampede blog challenge - Anything goes.  I used the QKR image Patchwork Stars on the dotted embossed background.   The paper came from my blue scrap bag, I am always happy when I use up some of my scraps because I have lots of it. :)

I hope you all are keeping warm out there.  We have sure had some cold weather in many of our states the last two weeks.  I have been staying inside as much as possible.  I have sinus and today I am losing my voice.  I am ready for it to get better.  My husband can't hear anything I am saying. :)

Have a safe and happy weekend.

My Kind Of Puperoni

Here is a card I made using Simon Says Stamp "My Favorite Puperoni" stamp set.  I just love this adorable pup, but those who know me knows I fall for every adorable pup I see.  Yes, I want to bring them all home, too.  :)  I used some scraps from my scrap bag to make this card and I colored the image with copics.  I think this is the quickest card I ever made.   I had to rush to get it done because I had an appointment to go to.

So happy you came by to see my little "Puperoni".  I will be back tomorrow with another card. See you then.

Put A Bird On It

I just love this cute bird (Dylusions) and this is the first time it has seen ink even though I have had it for several months.  I made this card using the colors for the SCS color challenge and also for the SCS featured stamper-Howdy Heidi.

I will be back with another card tomorrow.  Glad you stopped by.
