Beach Birds

Today I am sharing Cards I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Beach Bird.  I stamped the image on white card stock and colored it using Copic Markers.  I loved making the gray weathered fence which I felt was perfect with the blue colors.

The second card was made the same as the first one.  I colored it using different colors of Copic Markers.  I added a birthday tag and the sentiment is from Mini Greetings 2.

I am always amazed how a stamp is transformed by just changing up the colors.

Thank you, for coming by today and checking out my blog.  It was very appreciated.  I hope you enjoyed the cards.

Silhouette Dolphins

Here are cards I made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Silhouette Dolphins.

The first card was made by stamping the image and sentiment  on designer paper.     I really like the look the paper gave this card, I think the colors were perfect.  It makes it look like a sunset on the beach.

The second card was made by stamping the image on white card stock.  I used a  Copic Marker to color the water.  I made a mask and sponged in the sun.  I used the mask to cover the sun and used the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil, along with turquoise ink to make the sky.  I then stamped the sentiment across the sun.  The sentiment is from the Blue Knight Chickadee on a Fence Post stamp set.

Thank you, for coming by today to take a look at my cards.  Have a wonderful week.

You Don't Need A Cone

I made this card for one of my groomers who had back surgery.  She has been off awhile and she is definitely missed by my boys.  I hope she is feeling better soon.  I couldn't resist this Art Impressions Doggy Kisses for her card.  It reminds me of Tyson and his days of wearing a cone.

I decided that while I was making a card this morning that I would go to Splitcoast Stampers and check out their sketch challenge.  I was so happy that I did.  It worked well with my image after I flipped the sketch.

Thanks, for looking and I hope your day is going well.

Horse and Sleigh

Hello, Everyone, and Happy Monday to you.   Hope you all have had a great weekend.  I spent most of mine laying around and trying to recuperate from having sinus/allergy problems.  Thankful that I went to the doctor on Thursday so I was at least a little better for the weekend.

I have cards to share that were made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Horse and Sleigh.  I think this set and the Light of the World set will be my Christmas card choice this year.

For my first card I started off using pattern paper that I got in a 12 X 12 Recollections Guilded Paper pad.  This paper is really pretty and has several colors in it. I started out by stamping my Horse and Sleigh image with Versamark along with Black embossing powder.  I used my Heidi Pettie Cloud tencil and turquoise ink to make the clouds in the background.  My last step was adhering a Merry Christmas sticker that is written in gold.   This was a quick and easy Christmas card.

My second card was made by stamping the Mountain Scene image on white card stock.  I then stamped in the horse and sleigh.  The sky was made using the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and Distress inks.  I colored the water using a Copic Marker.

This is  a bonus card, I was having such a good time with this stamp set, I couldn't stop with just two.  The paper pad had a sheet of paper that had some 4 X 4 squares on it.  Here is one that I decide to stamp the horse and sleigh on.  I had some leftover pieces of embossed paper and some icicles that I decided to use, I need to get some of that stuff on some cards.  :). This card had the same detail on stamping as the first card.

Thanks, so much, for coming by to see me today.  Have a great week.
