Silhouette Cattails

Hello, Friends.    Hope you had a great holiday and that this finds you all doing well.  2021 is almost here.  Anyone making New Year's resolutions?

Today I am showcasing the Silhouette Cattails by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I stamped the cattails stamp on white card stock using a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and Blue Ink.  Next I stamped the bear from the Momma Bear and Friends stamp set using black Marvy Euchida ink.  I used black and bashful card stock to mat the image.

For my second card I stamped the Cattails stamp and the Silhouette Moose on white card stock using black Marvy Euchida ink. I used the cloud stencil and Sunrise and Sunset Pan Pastels to create the sky.    I matted the image on black and orange card stock to complete my card.

We have a treat for you next week over at Blue knight Rubber Stamps.  There will be another  wonderful new release.  I love the new stamps and I think you will, too.

Thank you, for stopping by and it is always great to hear from you.

Silhouette Moose Cards

Hi, Everyone.  Monday has rolled around, once again, and it is time for me to post cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Silhouette Moose.

I started my card by cutting the mats.  I stamped the grass from the Silhouette Grazing Horse stamp and Reeds and Ducks.  I made my sky by using the Sunrise and Sunset Pan Pastels Palette and the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.  Next I stamped my Silhouette Moose.  I added the branches at the top of the card using the Silhouette Forest stamp set.  I put my card together using my ATG gun.

This card came together fairly quick by using and embossing folder with birch trees on it.  Before I embossed, I added gray ink to the inside of my embossing folder.  I stamped the Silhouette Moose on white card stock.  I used a rectangle die to cut it out and also cut a black scalloped mat to go behind it.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Mini Greetings 1 stamp set.

Here is an extra card I made with the Silhouette Moose.   I wanted to make this one using girlie colors.  I have a friend that loves Moose and Deer Stamps so this was made with her in mind. I used distress inks and the cloud stencil to make the clouds.  I used a black marker to make the ground the moose was standing on.  I stamped on the moose.  I cut the mats and started putting my card together.  I added buttons and twine for the finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed the cards I shared today.  I had a great time making them.  Stop by again, real soon.

Girls With Pets

Today I am sharing two cards that I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Girls With Pets.  I can relate to this set because I was a girl once. ~grin~  I loved dogs.  I grew up and I still love dogs.  Okay, enough of my love for dogs, it is time to show you my first card.

This was a very easy and quick card to make.  I started out by cutting my card base and mats.  I stamped my Girl with Pets silhouette image on the designer paper mat.    I decided I wanted a sentiment my card and used one from the Sorrowful Pup stamp set.  I adhered my mats to the card base to finish my card.

Once again, I cut the mats for my card and then I stamped my image  of the Covered Bridge on the piece of white card stock.  I colored the image of the using Copic Markers.   I took my dog from the Girls with Pets and inked the stamp with Black ink and stamped it in front of the Covered Bridge.  I put my card together using my ATG gun.

Thank you, for stopping in today to see my cards.  I always love hearing your comments.  Have a wonderful week.

Heaven's Gate

Hello, Stamping Friends.  It is hard to believe it is already December.   Do you all have your Christmas cards made?  If you do, you are certainly ahead of me.

Today I am sharing cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Heaven's Gate stamp.

For my first card I chose to use designer paper to stamp my Heaven's Gate on.  I stamped using Versa Mark ink and used black embossing powder over the top of it.   I stamped the sentiment using Versa Fine Black Ink.   The puppy is from the Blue Knight Stamp set called           A Girl with Pets.  I stamped it using Versa Fine Black ink, as well.  I am always needed pet sympathy cards so I thought using the puppy with the Heaven's Gate was a perfect match.  I attached the my card stock to my card base and mats.

On my second one,  another pet sympathy card, I stamped the Heaven's Gate and the puppy using Versa Fine Black Ink  on designer paper.   I colored the flowers and bricks using Copic Markers.  I liked the look of using the markers to color over the designer paper and it gave a really different look from the first card.  I adhered my image on the mats and card base.

Thanks, so much, for stopping by to see me today.  Have a wonderful week.

Sailboats

Today I am sharing with you a couple cards that I made with the Sailboats  stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  There are two stamps in this set.

I started my first card by stamping the sailboat on white card stock.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and light blue ink to make the puffy clouds. I cut red and blue card stock to mat the sailboat image as the final step to my card.

I started my second card by stamping the image on white card stock and coloring it with
Copic Markers.  I used a circle die to cut the image and then cut a scallop circle to attach it.
I used a MFT Blue Print Dienamics die to cut the panels and adhered them to the card base.  I used foam squares to attach the sailboat to the card.  I used nautical dies to cut the anchors, seahorse and wheel to complete try card.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.  Stay safe and healthy.

Blue Knight Park Bench

Hello Friends,  I am back to share a couple of Blue Knight cards with you today.  I have used the Park Bench stamp.

For my first card, I stamped the image on white card stock and colored with Copic's.  I wanted to make this card with a Sprin look so I colored pink  blossoms in the trees.

On my second card, I stamped the image, colored it with Copic.  I stamped the dog and girl using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Girl with Pets.  I die cut the tag and stamped the sentiment on it from Hang in There Jaxson.  I added a thin black ribbon to the tag, for the finishing touch.

Thank you, for coming by today.  Have a great day.

Blue Knight Sweethearts

Hello Stamping Friends, hope this finds you all doing well.  I am loving the Fall weather we are having and seeing the beautifully colored leaves.  I know it is not going to last long so I am enjoying it while it is here.

I have a couple of cards to share with you made with the Sweethearts from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I really like this cute image.  It would be perfect for an anniversary, congratulations on your engagement,  wedding or on the news of  a new baby that is coming soon or a card for your special someone that says "I love Us".  I am sure there are many other uses, but these are a few that came to my mind.

I started out stamping the image on white card stock and coloring it with Copic Markers.  I used a wonky stitched rectangle die to cut it out and matted it on orange and blue card stock.

Once again, I stamped the Sweethearts image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.    I fussy the cut the image.  I then stamped the Blue Knight Beautiful Bridge stamp on another piece of white card stock and colored it with Copics.   I  attached the sweethearts to it.  There are so many other stamps and backgrounds that this lovely couple could be added to.

I plan to have a stamp give away, real soon, be sure to watch for it.

Thank you, for joining me today.  I hope you liked the cards.

Birch Path

I have two cards to share with you today using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Birch Path.

I started the card by stamping the image on white card stock and coloring the main image using Copic Markers.   I stamped  the Galloping Horses, I put a piece of tape over one of the three horses because the two horses fit perfectly between the trees.  I chose designer paper, for the matting, that reminded me of the birch trees in the image and chose black card stock to go behind it.

This Birch Path image was colored with Copics.  The sky was made using Day and Night Soft Pan Pastels and a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.

Gone Fishing'

I have a couple of cards to share with you today that I have made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Gone Fishing' stamps.  This is a great stamp set to use for the men on your card list, especially if they like to fish.

On this card I sponged the bottom of the card using the turquoise Pan Pastels from the Day and Night Pallette.   the upper portion of the card.   The upper portion was made using the Sunrise and Sunset Pan Pastel Pallette.    After I completed the back ground, I stamped my image on the card with Marvy Uchida black ink.  The technique I used is to make the wispy background can be found on the Blue Knight  You Tube Channel.  You will find it here.  It is very easy and I think you will like Lynn's video.

This card background was made by sponging the background using both of the Pan Pastel sets that I mentioned above.  I like the look of the evening sky.  Once the background was complete, I stamped the boat on it using black Marvy Uchida ink.  I used an additional stamp on this card.  It is Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Silhouette Forest.

Here are some additional links that I think you might enjoy.

Thank you, so much, for coming by today.  I appreciate your visits.
Have a great week and stay safe.

Cute Koala

Hi, Friends.  It is time to share cards with you made with the Blue Knight  Rubber Stamps called "Cute Koala".

I stamped my image on white card stock using black Marvy Uchida ink.  My ink of choice when using Copics.  Next I colored my image using Copic Markers.  I sponged the clouds in the sky. using Turquoise ink and the Heidi Pettie cloud stencil.  I stamped my sentiment on the clouds for the final touch.  The sentiment does not come with this stamp.

This card was made almost identical to the first one except I changed the sky color and colored my Koala a different color.  I used the Sunrise and Sunset Pan Pastel Pallette to make the clouds  I thought this little Koala made some cute cards.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I appreciate your visits and comments.
Have a great week.

Take Shelter

Hi, Everyone,  guess what time it is?  Yes, you are right.  It is Monday and it is time for my

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps post.  Today I am sharing cards I made with the "Take Shelter" stamp set.  This set comes with three stamps, a larger image, a smaller image and a sentiment.

For this card, I was lucky to remember this background was in my stash and waiting to be used.   I liked how it looked like rain coming down and thought it would be perfect with this image.  The technique is called Dendritic.  I stamped my image on the background using Amalgam ink.  I used black and blue card stock to mat the image attached it to a white card base.

I made my cloud background using a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil  and Violet from the Sunrise and Sunset Pan Pastels.   Next I used the  Seasonal Woodland stamp over the clouds and then added the the Take Shelter image.  I matted the image with white and black card stock to complete my card.

I am happy my new blogger is working properly now, but I still do not like it.  It was much easier using the old version.  I know I am not alone with that feeling, I have heard others comment about  not liking it.

Here are some Blue Knight Links for your convenience.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Beautiful Bridge

Happy Monday, Stamping Friends.  Today I am going to share another new release from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.    This one is called Beautiful Bridge.  The minute I saw this, I wanted to get out my Copics and start coloring.  I have been wanting my husband to build me a bridge similar to this to put in my front yard to plant flowers, tall grass and a lilac bush around.  Oh, well, the bridge is on his list.  I sure hope that list doesn't disappear, as it has happened in the past.  ~grin~. Let's get started with my first card.

I stamped my image on Neenah card stock using Marvy Euchida Ink and colored it with Copic Markers.  My sky is colored a light blue.  I matted my card with brown and blue card stock.

I stamped my image on white  Neenah card stock and colored the image using Copic Markers.  I added the purple sky using Blue Knight Day and Night Pan Pastels.  I used violet and added in just a little blue with it.

Flying a Kite - another new release from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps

Hello, Crafty Friends.  Wow, it is Monday, once again, and I have two cards to share with you from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This on is called Flying a Kite.  This set comes with the silhouette image and a sentiment which I have used on the first card.  I loved working with  this stamp.  You can make a fabulous scene with added stamp sets or you can stamp it on designer for a quick, but beautiful card.

This was a really easy card to make.  I stamped the silhouette image on this pretty designer paper and it looks like I spent some time water coloring it.  I like when I have paper that makes me look good.  ~grin~.   The paper was from a paper pack I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

For my second card, I decided to make a beach scene.  Oh, what fun it would be to be flying a kite on the beach for a young couple creating wonderful memories.   I used the Forever After Sentiment Stamps.   I stamped my beach image on the card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added a white gel pen to my water to give it the effect of waves.  I used a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil to make my clouds along with turquoise ink.  I used a stamp positioner to stamp the silhouette image and sentiment over the top of the beach.  Any easy way to do this is to put a piece of clear card stock over your card, you stamp on it and you can see clearly where your image is going to be and you can make sure your sentiment is straight before you stamp on the card.  I use the clear acrylic packaging from Spellbinders Dies to stamp on.   After I am done with it,  I clean it off  and it is ready to use again or you can pitch it and use another piece for the next time.  I store my dies in thick plastic envelopes so I keep  several of the packages to cut up for my card project protectors.

I am happy you joined me today.    I hope you enjoyed the cards.

Have a fabulous week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Let's Go

Hi,  Monday rolled around really quick.  The weekend just seemed to fly by.  I had a great weekend and I hope you did the same.

I am going to share two cards I made using the  Blue Knight Rubber Stamps "Let's Go".    This silhouette stamp set comes with four stamps.  There are two of the boy & girl that are larger stamps and another two that are the same, but are made into smaller stamps to give you options of how you want to use them.

I started out using an image called Path to the Barn.  I had this image laying on my craft table and it was already stamped and colored with Copic Markers.  I decided that the little boy from the Let's Go set would work perfectly if I stamped it in front of the path.  I used Ranger Archival ink to stamp my silhouette image.

This card was super easy to make.  I know the background looks like I spent a lot of time on it, but really and truly, I did not.  The pink background is from a 8X8 paper pad that I got at Hobby Lobby.  I could not have made a background that looked this good.  I used pierced chain dies to cut my mats.  I used Ranger Archival Ink to stamp my silhouette on to the paper.

I hope you all enjoyed my cards today.  Let me know what you think of them.    Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Daddy's Home

Hi, everyone.  Today I am going to share another new release from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.   It is definitely a cute one.  It is called, "Daddy's Home".  It reminds me so much of my oldest two grand sons when they were little.  My daughter had her hands full with those two and what one did not think of the other one did.  ~smile~

I stamped this image on card stock.  I colored it using Copic Markers.  The sky was made using Distress Inks and a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.

This card was made the same way as the first,  I just colored them differently.

Thanks, so much, for coming by today.  I love hearing your comments and opinions.  Have a wonderful week.

Little Country Church

Hi,  Blue Knight Rubber Stamps  has newly released stamps in the store today.    Today I am showcasing a new stamp set called "Little Country Church".   This set comes with the church and a sentiment.

Don't you just love the stained glass on this little church?  I stamped my image and colored it with Copic Markers.  I used a sponge dauber,  blue ink and a Heidi Pettie cloud template to make the puffy clouds.

After I stamped my image and colored it with Copic Markers, I used my cloud template and
Pan Pastels to create the sky.

Thank you, for coming by to take a look at my cards.  I appreciate your visits.

Pinecone in Frame

Hello Everyone,  I have a Christmas cards to share with you today. a little Christmas in August.
I used the Pinecone in a Frame by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

On the first card, I stamped the image on gold dotted designer paper.   Next I colored my pinecone and  greenery with Copic Markers.  I stamped the sentiment in red and matted my card.  I was afraid the gold dots might be a little much, but I like the way the gold dots show up on the pinecone.

The only thing I did different on the second card was to use different designer paper.  I thought this paper gave it a Country Christmas look.

Here is an extra card I did using traditional colors on plain white card stock.

You can find more cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps on the Blue Knight Blog and the Fans Facebook Page.   If you like tutorials, visit the  You Tube Channel.  Here is the link to the Blue Knight Store.

I am happy you dropped by today.  Come back, real soon.

Blue Knight Wide Castle

Hello, Friends.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  It went by really fast.  The weather was cooler here and it felt really good.  I am not looking forward to winter, but I am looking forward to enjoying some cooler evenings around the fire pit.

I am sharing a couple of cards that I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called
"Wide Castle Scene".  There are three images in this set.  (the Castle, and two Knights)

I stamped my image on the card stock and colored it using Copic Markers.  I sponged my clouds using Marvy Uchida Lt Blue ink.  I used a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil to create the clouds.

Once again, I stamped my image on my card stock and I colored the castle using Copic Markers.  I used a green ink to sponge in the grass.  I used blue ink  and the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil to create the clouds.  I stamped the sentiment using Blue Knight Rubber Stamps "Legendary" stamp set.

The first card, I used light gray Copic's and for the second one I used light brown Copic's.   Both card were easy to make and I was happy with the way they both turned out.  I liked using soft and subtle colors for a change.

I changed back to the old blogger interface.  (at least until they make me use the new one again and they will).   I was having to type everything in a word document and then cut & paste it into my blog so it did not have everything underlined and double spaced sentences.  I was very frustrated.    I am hoping they will have the bugs worked out of it by the time they change me over,  again.  I talked to a couple others that were having a lot of the same problems I was having.  At first, the gals,  I talked to were all having success with their new interface.

Kind Words

Hello, Crafty Friends.  It is Monday,  so that means it is time for me to post my Blue Knight Rubber Stamps cards.  Today I am sharing two cards from the Kind Words set.  The set comes with the flower image and the sentiment shown on the first card.  I stamped my image on my card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added Stickles to the center of the flowers.  I sponged the background using light blue ink.  The sentiment was stamped on tangerine card stock and I used a corner punch on the edges.  I added bling around sentiment piece to finish up my card.
For my second card, I stamped the image and the sentiment.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  I left the background plain for a clean and simple look.
Blogger has changed my format and I am not liking it.  It will not let me turn the underline feature off.  Be sure and check out:Blue Knight Facebook PageBlue Knight You Tube ChannelBlue Knight StoreHopefully by my next post, I can figure out what do do about me or the blog that is not working right.  :)If any of you can help with my problems of how to to stop double line spacing and how to turn off the underline feature that is not working, please let me know.Have a great week.
