I Miss Your Face

Here we are and it is Monday again.  Time for a new post using a newly released stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called "I Miss Your Face".    I love this sweet set, I will be using it a lot.

I started by stamping my image on white card stock and coloring it with Copic Markers.  I cut mats using black CS, Designer Paper and a bright pink piece of CS.  These were adhered to the card base.  I then stamped the sentiment on white CS, cut it out and adhered it acrosss the upper corner of my card.

I really was happy with this card.  I started by using a Pawprint embossing folder and white  card stock. I put a piece of ribbon around the embossed piece.  I, then, adhered it to the card mat and base.  I stamped my image on white card stock.  I colored it with Copics.  I used a Whimsy" stamp die edger to cut the around the image panel.  I also cut a black mat to attach it too.  I adhered the image to the card.

Thank you, for coming by and I hoped you liked my cards.

Tell Me The Story

Hello,  today I am back with a couple of cards made with a new release from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  This stamp is a background stamp called "Tell Me A Story".

I will start with my favorite card first.   I paired the background stamp with the Dad and I stamp.  I thought these were perfect together.  Dad and son are out on the creek bank and Dad is telling him about Jesus.  So sweet!   I started by stamping my background stamp on a piece of blue card stock.  Next I stamped the silhouette stamp over it.   I made blue and black mats to go with it and adhered them to the card with the image.

I started by using a Catherine Pooler ink and stamped it on pink card stock.  I then stamped the bassinet on white card stock and on designer paper.  I then colored the image using Copic Markers.  I fussy cut the card stock image and the designer paper bassinet skirt and added it to the bassinet. (I am a fan of paper piecing)  I adhered the bassinet to the background panel.  I made two mats and adhered the main panel along with the mats to the card base.  It was a fun card to make.

Thank you, so much, for stopping in for a visit today.  Hope to see you again soon.

Skeleton Birthday

Hello Friends.  Hope this finds you all well and keeping warm.  In my region, we are having some pretty cold temps.  I will not rush Old Man Winter yet, but I will be ready for Spring so I can get outside.  I don't like complete hibernation.  ~grin~

Today I am sharing a couple of cards made with Crackerbox Stamps.  I recently found this company and I like their humorous stamps especially the I have on my card today.  I used the Skeleton Birthday and Sniff You First.   One of my cards will go to my husbands best friend.  It will make him laugh.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I appreciate your visits and nice comments.

Orcas

Hello, I am back with a couple of cards to share with you using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps "Orca" Stamps.

For the first card, I started with stamping my image on white card stock using Marvy Uchida Black Ink.   I colored the image using Copics markers.  I removed  sky from this image and mounted it on a water color wash background that I created some time ago.  I like the way the sky looks behind the mountains.

The second card was made by stamping the image on a pre-boxed card that I bought at Hobby Lobby.  I cut the card in two and only used the card front.  The only coloring I did to this was to add some Copic marker to the water. The colors on the card base was perfect for the mountain colors.  I really liked the way it turned out.

Thank you, so much, for coming by today.  Have a wonderful week.

God's Promise"s

Hello, everyone.  Hope this finds all of you well.  It has been cold here and we we received a little snow this week.  It warmed up to around 40 today and the snow has pretty much melted off.

Today I am sharing the newly released Blue Knight Rubber Stamps -

God's Promises.  Let's get started.

I started the first card by stamping the image on white card stock.  I colored the image using Copic Markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and tempting turquoise ink to make the clouds.  I cut green and black card mats and attached everything to the card base.

The second card was made basically the same as the first.  On the rainbow I used metallic gel pens, but the markers did not have much metallic to them.  I made this one a winter card with a little snow on the ground.  I was actually trying to remember if I had ever seen a rainbow when there was snow and I do not think I have.  Then I started wondering if there were rainbows with snow so I googled it.  I did find some pictures of snow with a rainbow so I decided to proceed with my card.

Coastal Pines

Hello, Everyone and Happy New Year.  I hope you all have a wonderful year.

Today I am sharing cards I made with the New Release from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps-Coastal Pines.

I really like the cards made with this stamp and they were super easy.  I like the crisp look.   I stamped the sentiment and the image on designer paper and cut mats to attach them to the card base.  The paper is from a pack I ordered from Divinity Designs.  I made the first with the sand and the way the sand swirls on the paper, it reminded me of a sand storm.  Since I liked that, I decided to pull a pice of paper from the pack showing water which I decided it was the ocean.  As far as my little trees can see, all they see is water.

This is an extra card I made with this set for this week.

Thank you, for coming by today and checking the first cards of the year.
