Feeling Fallish

The Classy Cards N Such challenge this week is to make a fall card-no Halloween.  I used the Impression Obsession Birch Tree die to cut the trees.   I rubbed gold on the trees.  I added a frame using the Impression Obsession Rectangle 6 -N -1 frame die. I punched a lot of colored leaves to put at the bottom of the card and added the deer using Impression Obsession  Small Deer die.  I added an orange banner that I stamped the Happy Fall sentiment on.

Please come over to the blog and join us for our challenge.

Wings and Things

Here is a card I made for Classy Cards N Such.  I am still loving this stamp by Heartfelt Creations called Dream in Beauty.    I stamped it on white card stock and colored it with markers.  I used the Heartfelt Creations Botonical Wings die  to cut out the butterfly before I used a circle die to cut it out.  I put glitter on the butterfly.  I had this piece of textured card stock left from another  card and decided to use it with my butterfly.  The decorative die that I used is Lavish Swirls by Sue Wilson.  The bow is a Sue Wilson Filigree 3D Itty Bitty Bow die.

I added white pearls to the two corners as the finishing touch to my card.

Thank you for taking a look at my card today.  Have a great weekend.

Shimmery Reindeer

This card is for the Classy Cards N Such challenge for this week   We were given inspiration photo's and asked to make a Christmas card with a deer.   I decided to go with Gold and Silver paper.  I think that is a winning combination for a Christmas card.

The deer was cut using the Memory Box Leaping Deer die.  I cut a piece of Gold cord to tie around the deer's neck.  The corner snowflakes were cut using the
Impression Obsession Small Snowflake Set.  I used the Anja's Large Oval die to cut the decorative piece that the deer was attached to.  I love this die, it always looks so elegant.

The sentiment is from the Flourishes Holiday Topiaries stamps set.

Thank you for stopping in and taking a look at my card.  I hope you will join in our fun challenge this week.

Butterfly Dream

I recently found this Heartfelt Creations stamp called "Dream in Beauty" in the Classy Cards Store.  This was a stamp that I fell in love with and now that I have finished this card,  I know I will be using it a lot.  I hope you do not tire of seeing it.

I embossed the image with Versamark and embossed it with Gold Embossing powder, on white card stock.  I colored the butterflies with markers.  I sponged over the whole image with distressing ink.

I added two frames over the top of the image.  I used the Impression Obsession 6 in 1 Frame.

The posy was cut using the Memory Box Scalloped Posie die.  I used a leaf punch for the leaves.  I  scrunched them to give them a more realistic look.  The silver rhinestone was added to the posy and that finished my card.

Hey Pumpkin

The challenge theme at  Crafty Secrets is "Too Cute To Spook".   I picked up this little pumpkin image  for free there when I was going over to purchase some cute digi's today.  I wanted to make this card for their challenge.    I have not taken any time lately to just have fun so I took a couple of hours for me today.  Now it looks like my free time has ended and I have this cute card to show for it.  I think I know a lady in our church that will smile when she sees this cutie in her mailbox.

Thank you,  for coming by today.

Classy Cards N Such - An Apple A Day Challenge

The challenge for the Classy Cards N Such blog challenge is to draw inspiration from the  colors of the Apple A day Challenge picture.  You can add an apple to your project if you like.

These little apple cookies look yummy.  I drew inspiration from the plaid  and the heart cookies.  The plaid is from the Darice Plaid Embossing Folder.   The hearts were from a small heart punch that I have.  The stems were cut with the Memory Box Tall Chloe Stem die.

The flower die is Secret Garden 1 Dee's Distintive die.   This is the first time I used it and I like the flowers.

Colorful-Colorburst- Poppy

Hi, I am back with another card I made for Classy Cards N Such.   I had a pleasant experience using the Ken Oliver Alizarin Crimson Color Burst for the very first time.    I stamped the poppy, using one of the stamps from Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppy Vase set, on water color paper.  I then spritzed the paper with water and sprinkled the color burst over it.  I love the results I got from it.  I then used water color crayons to color over my flower and leaves.  I used a dots embossing folder for the background.  The border is  ODBD Beautiful Borders.   I used a black check ribbon to make my bow using the bow easy.

If you are wanting to try the Ken Oliver Color Bursts there are many colors in the Classy Cards N Such Store.  Be sure and use the code Shirley-10 for a discount.

I am happy you stopped by today and I hope you will come back again soon.
