Speedy Fox Challenge - Vintage

The Speedy Fox challenge for today is to make a Vintage card or project.    I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamps called "All Postal, Sending Happy Thoughts and Hum Along" for my card.  This card really started out vintage and I think it started going down hill.  I did flick some black paint on it with a toothbrush.  (ofcourse I used my husbands toothbrush, but don't tell him)  ~grinning~  Come over to the blog and join us for the challenge.

Queen for the Day Card

I was asked to be the guest designer for the Queen for the Day challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.  Ann aka Dockside is the new Queen.  I like the layout of the card I cased of Ann's.  I love this yellow and black combo with the mix of dps.  My husband says it is too busy, but I like busy.  :)  I used a stamp set called "Huge Bloom" by Mark's Finest Paper.   The paper I used is Authentique.

Here is the link for Ann's card that I cased.

Squigglefly - Sneak Peek of a New Release

Here is a card I made with a soon to be released image from Squigglefly.    This fireworks  image is by a new artist, Sandra Caldwell.   This image and many other will be released at the Squigglefly store on June 7th.  Be sure and check them out.

Speedy TV Inspiration challenge - Niagara Falls

The Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge for this week has some awesome pictures of Niagara Falls.
I used  Marks Finest Paper stamps called "Friends".   I chose the picture with the blue fireworks for my inspiration.    The paper I used is Stampin' Up.  This card was also for the Technique Lovers Challenge at Splitcoast.  The challenge was to make a building blocks card.  I definitely felt challenged when I was cutting the card stock and hoping it was right.

Here are the Inspiration Pictures:

If you can find some spare time, come over to Speedy TV and join us for this challenge.  I would love to see you there.

Thanks, for stopping by.

Squigglefly challenge - Make a square card

Making a square card for the Squigglefly challenge today is a treat because I love square cards.  I chose to use this image by Lynne Stansbery called "Girls Night Out".   It is definitely a fun one to work with and Lynne draws the best images.   The birthday sentiment is not a Squigglefly image.
Caldwell,  debuting this month.  Be sure to go to the Squigglefly store the first of June to see her work.  They also will have have some new images posted in June.  I can't wait to see them all.

Have a safe and fun Memorial Day.

Loving this Artistic Outpost stamp set

Wow, I have not used this Artistic Outpost  stamp set very much and it has been sitting on the shelf for a year.  I have made two cards with it in the last two days.  I have to put it back on the shelf or everyone will get tired of me using it everyday.  ~grin~  This card  was made for the Free 4 All challenge at Splitcoast.   I am so happy they gave this color challenge.  I would never have thought to use this set in these colors.  I added some twine and the netting from a ham as my embellishments.

I made this card for a Splitcoast challenge, too.   I am really enjoying being back to doing the challenges there.

Thanks, for looking and I hope you will come back soon.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge #64 - Bicycles and Bouquets

The Speedy TV Inspiration challenge #64 is all about bicycles and bouquets.  I made a pop up box card for this challenge, with the help of a friend.  I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamps "Pansy Riot".  I used the Silhouette to cut out the purple bicycle.

Here are the inspiration pictures:

I sure hope you will join us this week.

Speedy Fox - No Designer Paper

The Speedy Fox challenge is to use no designer paper.    No designer paper, how do I make a card without it?   I decided using Mark's Finest Paper "Tiger Lilly" stamps would be a start.  I then picked my papers with colors that would go with my colored image.   Now it gets tough, trying to figure out a background without using designer paper.  I decided to use a stencil and sponge with the colors of the card stock.  I really am pleased with the background.   This is a good technique to use when we do not have any matching designer paper, too.   I run into that  problem quite often.   I will do this technique again.

Thanks, for stopping by today.
