Classy Cards N Such - God Is

This week is full of hustle and bustle with Christmas only three days away.  I hope you have your shopping done.  I think mine is done, but I still need to wrap and do some cleaning.

Here is a card I made for Classy Cards N Such using dies and Stamps from their store.  I like silhouette stamps, they can make a card come together much faster than coloring an image.  I added the sky around the silhouette using a cloud template and a little greenery which were also quick techniques.

Thanks, for stopping by today.  I always appreciate your visits and comments.

Classy Cards N Such - Glitsy Foil Wreath

Here is a card I made for Classy Cards N Such.   I have to say this is one of my favorite Christmas cards this year.  The Textured Foil Paper really makes the card beautiful, along with the Twig Wreath Die and the stocking die.

Here is another card I made for Classy Cards.

I like how one can cut the pieces in so many different colors.  Three cuts and three different cards can be made with this Pillar Candle Trio Die.

All of the products high lighted can be found at Classy Cards N Such.   Use the code Shirley-10 for a 10% discount.

I have been so busy making Christmas cards that I have let the time slide right by me and now I am thinking "oh, my gosh,  I should have them ready to mail, but guess what?  I don't have them ready to mail.   I have got to get busy.

Have a great day and if you out there shopping,  I hope the stores are not too packed.  I hate shopping when it is like that.

The latest news in Boxertown

Meet Tucker, the newest member of our family.  How could one not love this sweet little face?   I fell in love with him at first sight.  He has been here for eight days and is doing very well with his house training.   He is such a couch potato and is getting very spoiled, if you can believe that.

I had a procedure done on my shoulder two weeks ago and I have been doing therapy everyday.   I have so much more movement of my shoulder so the procedure was a success.

I am so falling apart these days, but at 113 yrs of age ~grin~ that is what happens.  I have had lots of hip pain for the last two weeks and now I am dealing with that, but it will get better soon.

All of this doctor and therapy "stuff" is sure interfering with my card making and commenting.   I apologize  for not getting around to all of your blogs like I should.    Things should be back to normal soon, at least, I hope it is.

I got to keep the grand baby today.  He has strip throat and could not go to day care.   I always love having him, but I sure hate to see him sick.  Since he did not feel well, I got more lap time with him.

That is the latest happenings here.  Hope all is going well for you and you family.

Thanks, for stopping by.

Classy Cards N Such - Carried to Heaven

I made this card for Classy Cards N Such.    Sympathy cards are the hardest to make when you need one so I try to have a few made a head of time.  I used a Anna Griffin Matelasse embossing folder, it happens to be one of my favorites,  it always looks so fresh and crisp.  The stamp and the angel wings are by Our Daily Bread Designs.  The label I used to mount the flower on is Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty Seven dies.  All of the products mentioned may be found at Classy Cards N Such Store.

Squigglefly Challenge - Snowman Ornament

The challenge over at the Squigglefly blog this week is given by Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals.  The challenge it to use die cute or embossing.  I have used both on my card.  The Squigglefly image that I used is a new release by Pam Lehto called "Snowman with Ornament".   There are many new images if you want to go over and take a look.

Classy Cards N Such - Make A Beautiful Tag

I hope you find inspiration today from the Classy Cards N Such blog challenge.   Sometimes I just need a little push to get my creativity flowing.   I am so glad we were challenged to make a tag or a card with a tag for this week.  It encouraged me to make this beautiful tag for a special Christmas gift this year.  This recipient of the gift loves purple so I had to use this beautiful purple foil paper on my card.  I chose to use a bare tree die, small deer die and glitter for my tag.   All of the products can be found at the Classy Cards N Such Store.  You may use the code Shirley-10 for a discount.
