Jungle Friends

Hi, everyone.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  It wasn't a good weekend weather wise in my little corner of the world.  It was really cold on Saturday and Sunday was rainy and dreary.  I realize it could have been worse, but it would have been nice to see the sun.

Today, I am sharing another new release called Jungle Friends by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

This was a fairly easy card to make.  I colored the Jungle Friends with Copic Markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie cloud template and turquoise ink for the clouds.  I chose a colorful designer paper and made the mats to adhere to the card base.

For my second card,  I colored the image using Copic Markers   I chose a cute designer paper to make a baby card.  I thought this stamp set was perfect for a baby card, a child's birthday or a bright and cheerful card for a friend.

Help.  I am still having some problems with this blog.  I don't know if it is me or blogger.  Anytime I want to add a picture, I have to drag it from my files.    I cannot get it to bring up a menu to choose an option to upload from the computer files.  Here is a picture of what it looks like when I click on upload.  As you can see on this picture, there is NO options that come up after I clicked Choose Files.

I, thank you, in advance, for any help you can offer me.

I am happy to came by for a visit today.  Hope you come back soon.  Have a great week.

Baby Bassinet

Hi Everyone, I am back with a couple of cards from the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps new release-Baby Bassinet.  I have to say, I had fun with this set.  Paper Piecing is one of my favorite techniques so I paper pieced both cards.  I also love patterned paper and I so happen to have enough of it for 2-3 life times.  For those of you who do not like to color, this would be a perfect solution for you with this set.  I love to color, but the paper piecing won when it came to making these cards.  ~smile~

I cut the mats and card base for my cards.  I stamped the image on the white card stock and on the patterned paper.    I colored the the wood frame, the bear and the ball with Copic Markers.  I cut the bassinet from the patterned paper and adhered it to the one that I had colored.

Here is the stamp set and the sentiments that come with it.

Thank you, for coming by today.  Have a good week.

I am back to share a couple of cards I made using a brand new release by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called Sunflower Sunshine.  I don't know about you, but I love seeing Sunflowers in the summer especially if there is a whole field of them.

I stamped my image and sentiment on white card stock.  I colored the the flowers using my Copic Markers.  The sky was sponged using Turquoise ink and a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.  I made the mats and attached to the card base.

The second card was created just like the first one with the exception that I used different colors on the sunflowers which gives it a more bold effect and used different colors for the matting.  This is my favorite of the two.

Thank you, so much, for dropping in today.  I always enjoy your visit and hearing your comments.  Have a good week.

Thanks, to Daffodil Cards for the tip on the blogger issue I was having.  It did not help the last post, but I used the info for this post and it has done very well.  I appreciate the help.

Swan Scene

Hello and Happy New Year.  Here is my first blog post for the this year.  I am showcasing a brand new stamp set Swan Scene from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  Be sure and check out ALL the new releases HERE.

For my first card, I stamped the silhouette Swan Scene image on white card stock using Black VersaFine Clair ink.  The ink works very well for Silhouette stamps.  I colored the water using a Copic Marker.  The sky was created using a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and Wilted Violet Distress Ink.  I used silver, black, purple and designer paper to create the mats.

On my second card, I stamped the silhouette Swan Scene on card stock using the same black ink.  I used  the Day and Night Soft Pan Pastel Palette to create the water.  I used the Sunrise and Sunset Soft Pan Pastel Palette to create the sky.  I used black and Orange Sherbet Card stock to create the mats.

I have no idea what is going on with blogger, I used

left alignment for the text and it started out that way and

changed the alignment for me to have to correct, as well

and now has started double spacing the lines.  Please

excuse look of my blog this week.  I hope it is better next

                       week.
