Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Silhouette Trees on a Hill

Good Morning, my crafty friends.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and woke up feeling rested to start the new week.

Today I am sharing cards that I made using the NEW Blue Knight Silhouette Trees on the Hill stamps.  It is really easy to make a beautiful card with this stamp.

I started this card by stamping the My Country Tis of Thee background stamp on a piece of white card stock.  I, then added clouds using the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and blue inks.  I stamped the Silhouette Trees over the background stamp to complete my card.

This card was started by stamping the Silhouette Trees on a Hill and the sentiment from this set on a piece of designer paper.  I added the mats and adhered them together to complete my card.

Thank you, for coming by today for a visit.  It is always good to have visitors.  Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Be Kind Anyway

Hello Crafty Friends, I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday, this far, on this new week.  Mine is going okay, I had an appointment out of the area this morning and I just got home.  Happy to be home, that is for sure.  The older I get the more I get the saying, "There is no place like home".

Today I am sharing cards that I made with Blue Knight's newest background stamp called "Be Kind Anyway".

This card was really easy to make.  I stamped the background on my designer paper and then stamped the Real Love image over it.  I thought the stamp was perfect over this background.

I stamped my Be Kind Anyway stamp on the designer paper.  I stamped the image from Girls with Pets over the background to complete this card.

Thank you, so much, for coming by to check out my cards.  I appreciate it so much.

Blue Knight Lake Retreat

Hello, Friends.  Hope those of you in the USA had a wonderful 4th of July.  We had a good one, but it was busy and went way too fast. For those not in the USA, I hope you had a wonderful weekend, too.  Our weekend was really hot.  Wherever you are, I hope you were able to keep cool.

I am sharing cards that I made with the new Blue Knight Stamp set - Lake Retreat.  I enjoy the beautiful scenes that I can pull out my Copic markers and color it any way I want.

I stamped the Lake Retreat image and sentiment on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil to make the sky along with tempting turquoise ink.

I stamped the image on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers, I chose different colors for this card.  I used an eclipse  die and liked the way it looked with this image.  It took a little more time to make the card, but it was worth it.

Thank you, so much, for coming by to take a look at my cards.  Have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Stamps - Silhouette Flower Garden

Hello, Friends and Happy Monday, to all of. you.   I don't know about your neighborhood, but it is getting extremely hot in mine.  It is early morning, around 82 degrees and the humidity is terrible.  Thankfully, I can be inside today and hopefully be cool.  I hope everyone's air conditioners keep working.  I know the heat and guys are usually covered up with appointments in this heat.

Today I am going to share a couple of cards that I made using the NEW Blue Knight Silhouette Flower Garden.  This is a perfect set to use with designer paper or using a piece of card stock and making your own scene and sky.  I chose to use designer paper because I have a ton of it in my stash.  I can't resist buying paper with the beautiful skies and the ones that are perfect with most silhouette stamps.  I have a lot of silhouette stamps and Blue Knight makes the best ones with wonderful scenes.  It makes my card making easy and they helps me greatly as I do not have a lot of free time these days.  Enough of my chatting, I am going to show you the cards I made with this stamp.

Both cards were made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps using the Silhouette Flower Garden stamp and sentiment.  I stamped them directly on the designer paper.  It doesn't get any better than that.  My non stamping friends think I spend a lot of time doing cards like these.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  Have a great week and for those of those in the areas having heat advisories, try to stay in and keep cool.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - My Country tis of Thee

Hello Friends, today I am going to share cards that I made with the new My Country Tis of Thee stamp by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.   It works very well with the Flag stamp that is also a new release.

I stamped the My Country Tis of Thee and the Tattered Flag on a piece of card stock.  I cut the frame using a die that I purchased from Your Next Stamp and I think they went out of business.  I stamped the sentiment, from the God Bless America stamp set, in the center of it.  I cut the mats and attached everything to the card base.

For this card I stamped the My Country Tis of Thee  stamp on white card stock.  I cut the title out to place at the top of the card.  I used star dies and cut one out of the navy card stock to place over the card stock that has the My Country Tis of Thee stamped on it. I added another red die, placed a silver heart and a smaller navy heart over it.  I used a hand held heart punch to make all the tiny heart that I randomly placed over the navy piece.

I hope you enjoyed the cards today.  Come back again soon.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Tree Swing

Hello and Happy Monday to you.  I hope your Monday is going well, I know on some Monday's, it seems that all goes wrong.  I am hoping this is not the case with you and all is good.  So far, so good, for me.

Today I am sharing cards made with the New Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Tree Swing.   Did any of you have a tree swing when you were growing up?  I can't say that I have seen any lately.  It seem that kids have metal swings sets today.

I started this card by stamping the image and Friends Rock One Line sentiment on white card stock.  I colored it using Copic markers.  I created the clouds by using the Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and tempting turquoise ink.

On this card I did the same as I did on the first card except I used Distress Ink to create the sky.  I also add a dog from the Silhouette Dogs stamp set.

I appreciate you coming by today to take a look at my cards.  I hope you have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Tattered Flag - A new release

Hello, stamping friends.  Here it is, another Monday and I have a couple of cards using the new

Tattered Flag stamps.   This is a two piece set.  I like it because you can make a bright card with it or you can make one with darker paper and make it look primitive.  I like the primitive look, but I chose to use white card stock to use with it because the pictures look better.  It is hard getting good pictures of the primitive ones.  I made primitive ones first and then made two using white card stock to post here.

I used the star stamp and the stripes  to  stamp the images on white card stock that was a little rough, that is why the stars & stripes has an old look to it.   I used the Wood embossing folder on the card stock.

I did the same things on this card with the exception of using the embossing folder on it.   I added the sentiment from the Thank You Hero stamp set.

This was my favorite of the cards I previously made giving it a really tattered look by tearing the edges and making the card stock look old & worn.

Thank you, for coming by today.  Have a great week.

On the first card I stamped the Wildflower Garden stamp on white card stock.  I colored the flowers using Copic Markers.  I used my Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and  tempting turquoise ink to make the clouds.

For this card I stamped the Wildflower image and the sentiment  on Day Designer Paper by Blue Knight.   I colored the flowers with Copic Markers.

Hello, Friends.  Today I am sharing cards that I made with the new Circle Stamp Through Stencil from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I like how easy that Blue Knight has made stencil stamping with their two steps to making a beautiful card.

May be an image of text

For my first card, I chose to use the Day at the Lake stamp set and added the Eagle and  Foliage stamp to use in the top corner.  The sentiment I used is from the Sympathy set. I used a cloud stencil and turquoise ink to make the clouds.  The water was colored using a Copic marker

Blue Knight Feather Stencil Cards

Hello, Friends.  Today I am sharing a couple of cards that I made with the New Blue Knight

Feather Stamp Through Stencil Set.  This set makes stenciling easy.  It has a thick stencil to use to put the stencil on your card stock.  It has a thin one to use when you stamp over it.

The first card was made adding the stencil feather to a piece of Blue Knight Day Sky 3 Designer Paper. I used the Silhouette Birds and Grass to stamp through the stencil.  The sentiment is from the Hope Clear stamp set.

The second card was made by stenciling the Feather over the Misty Moons Paper.  The birds are from the Flying Swans stamp and the sentiment if from the Bird Sayings stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed the cards and that you will come back soon.   Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Horse Stencil Cards

Happy Monday, my friends.  I hope you all are having a great start to a new week.    Yesterday we celebrated Mother's Day.  All of my family was here with the exception of one grandson. We had a wonderful day, but wish he could have been with us to make the day even better.

Today I am sharing cards made with Blue Knight's new Horse Stencil Stamp Through Stencil.  To stencil the horse on the paper, I used the thick part of the stencil and for the stamps, I used the thin piece of the stencil.

I started the card by using the stencil and ink to brush the horse on a piece of white card stock using distress inks.     I stamped the grass from the Silhouette Grazing Horse across the horse and then added the Silhouette Galloping Horses.  The sentiments are from the Let's Ride stamp set.

I used Broken China  Distress Ink on the
Horse Stencil Stamp Through Stencil.  I used the Wild Grass stamp to stamp over it.  The sentiment is from Bible Verse 2 stamp set.

Blogger is being contrary today.  It decided part of my post should be centered and would not let me change.   When I highlight the words sometimes it lets me use Blue and other Days it will only let them be black.  It definitely drives me crazy trying to correct things when it objects to it.

I hope you enjoyed the cards today.  Have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Flowering Vine Stamp and Matching Die

Good Morning, Friends and Happy Monday, to you.  I know many of you do not think Monday mornings are happy as you return to work today.  It certainly seems like the weekends sure fly by fast.  My weekend was jammed packed with fun with family and friends.  I enjoyed every minute of it.

Today I am sharing cards that I made with the NEW Blue Knight Flowering Vine 2 stamp and the Flowering Vine die.

I started this card by stamping the Flowering 2 Vine on a piece of Fence designer paper.  I colored the image with Copic Markers. Next I used my matching Flowering Vine Die on white paper and cut out the vine that I placed on top of a portion of the stamped vine to give it a raised effect.  It doe snow show up real well in the picture.  I use glossy effect on the flowers to give them a shine.  The bee is from the Honeybee and Sunflower stamp.  I used the matching Honeybee and Sunflower  die to cut out the bee.  I colored the bee and added stickles to the wings  and added the sentiment in the center of the card.

On this card I used the same designer paper and colored it pink.  I stamped the vine over it  and colored them with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment from Bible Verses I

I hope you enjoyed the cards today.   Have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Pastel Skies and Misty Moons Designer Paper - Bookmarks

Hello, Friends.  Happy to be back this week with more projects using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps new Pastel Skies and Misty Moons Designer Papers.  I have to say I have loved all of the new papers to date.  They are all beautiful and they make card making so much easier.  This week not only do I have a card, but I have made bookmarks from the scrap pieces of the new papers.

I started this card by stamping the Birds and Grass stamp directly on the Pastel Skies designer paper.  I stamped the sentiment using the One Line Sentiment set - Did You Know.

The first bookmark was made using the Day at the Lake, Birds, One Line Did You Know,  Sentiments.
The second bookmark was made using the Bodie Island Lighthouse.
The third bookmark was made using the cute Beach Boards and Towels One Line Did You Know Sentiments and the Silhouette Dolphins.

I punched holes at the top of the bookmarks and added ribbon to complete them.

How about a Big Swig

I made this card for a SCS Challenge. We were to use a container on our cards. Well, I thought this Unity wine glass would be considered a container. Yep, it looks like this glass has a big swig of wine.

The inside sentiment says "I heard you celebrated last night with a couple of adult beverages. Metamucil & Ensure. Not sure how that tasted mixed with Wine. LOL

Hope you enjoyed my humor. I know, I have a different sense of humor than most. I hear it all the time. Oh, well, I think we all need more laughs in life.

Have a good weekend.

Blue Knight Has New Designer Paper

Hello Friends.  It is certainly a busy time of the year.  We celebrated Easter yesterday with family, although we had some who were ill and not able to make it.  We certainly missed them, but we have a family jam fest on the books for this weekend and we will have another chance to have the whole family together for a night of fun.  I also have a card class that I am teaching at the end of the month.  Blue Knight has some new products that will be arriving shortly so I have design team cards to make for May.  There are also doctor visits and PT visits scheduled.  I look forward to hopefully not having as many appointments in June.   Fingers crossed.

Today I am showing cards using the brand New Misty Moons and Pastel Skies designer paper.  The papers come in 6 X 6 pads with 25 double sided sheets and 5 of each design. I am loving each pad of the designer papers to date.  They are all beautiful.

I started and finished this card by stamping the Windmill and Corn on the pretty Pastel Skies Designer paper.  Sounds too easy, doesn't it?  ~Smile~

For this card I stamped Bridge over Waterfall stamp on the Misty Moons Paper.  I used Copic Markers to color my image.  The sentiment is from the BibleVerses 1 stamp set.

Thank you, for stopping in to see the cards I made with the new designer paper.

Have a great week.

Scrappy Cards -SCS Challenge

Hello, Friends.  I am sharing a couple of cards I made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  I don't find much time to get over there for a lot of challenges anymore, but I do enjoy doing them.  Today the challenge was to use Scraps.  I certainly could make cards for a long time using my scraps.  I think most of us could do that.

Here is the link for the challenge, if you would like to go over to Splitcoast to join the challenge.  We would love to see what you do with your scraps.

The first image was one I colored long ago and never used it for a card.  My scraps were a perfect fit for them.  The second image was one someone colored and sent me, I am sorry to say, I do not remember who sent it, but I like it with my scraps.

Thanks, for coming by today and I hoped you enjoyed seeing how I used a few of my scraps.

Blue Knight Open Window Landscape Stamp and Die Set

Hello.  Today I am sharing with you the new Landscape Open Window Die and stamp set.  I will share the two cards I made with these products.

I stamped the Dad and I Silhouette stamp on designer paper that was in my stash.    I stamped the Portrait Open Window on a piece of white card stock and used the matching Portrait Window Die  to cut it out.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  I adhered the window over the main image, but I did not pope this one up.  I tried to make it look like a distressed window frame.

I stamped the Queen Anne's Lace Barn on white card stock and colored it with Copic markers.  I added the clouds by using Tempting Turquoise ink and a cloud template.  I stamped the Jeep on separate paper and cut it out using a matching die.  I  attached the window over the barn by using square foam dots to pop up it up and also popped up  the Jeep .

That completes the cards for today.  Thank you, for coming by.
