Country Life - Blue Knight

My Blue Knight  Country Life Stamp was still on my craft table so I decided to make another card with it.  This time I used distress oxide inks to color the whole image with the exception of the grass and trees which were colored with a copic marker.  The inks I used were Peacock Feathers, Pickled Raspberry, Seedless Grape, Mustard Seed and Rusty Hinge.

My friend Verna gave me the idea of coloring the image with the oxide distress inks.  The card she made doing this was beautiful.  I gave it a try and liked it.

Blue Knight - Country Life

I am sharing a card with you that I made using Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  The name of the stamp is Country Life.  I know sometimes you look at a stamp and think "Oh, that is going to be hard to color".  This stamp is not hard to color, it actually did not take a long time to do it.  My background took a little longer because I messed it up twice and had to redo it.  It was an easy fix as I just cut my colored image from the sky, mounted it on another piece of card stock that I had already prepared the sky.  I made the sky by applying oxide inks with my Clarity Brushes.    I used Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick and Broken China.  I colored my truck with copic markers.  (YR4,7,9)

Thank you, so much, for taking time out of your busy day to view my blog.

I have a Fall card to share with you today.  It is almost time to get ready to go out to the pumpkin patches with the kiddo's and pick out some pumpkins.  I used the Pumpkin Fence image by QKR Stampede/Stamp On It.  The challenge over at the QKR Stampede Blog is anything goes, come by and load your card into Mr. Linky to join the fun.

Thanks, so much,  for stopping by today.
