Cut It Up with QKR

Hello, crafty friends.  I am back today with a QKR Stampede challenge card.  The challenge  theme is "Cut It Up".  The translation is to use dies, punch, etc.. on your cards.  Today I used a Eureka image called Pumpkins and Fence #29901.   This image was really calling my name the other night when I was browsing in the Eureka Store.   I love scenes and had a fun time coloring this image with copics.

Be sure and come over to the blog to see what the other team members have made and to upload your card to the challenge.

Have a great weekend.

QKR - Embossing

The new challenge for QKR Stampede is to make a card with embossing on it.  I used a anchor embossing folder.   The postcard is from a older Graphic 45 paper.  I stamped the manatee on regular white card stock and colored him with copics.   The manatee stamp is called "Sailor".

I hope you will do some embossing and join us for the challenge this week.  The design team love to see your cards.

Have a great Fall weekend.

Free 4 All - Don't get Squirrely - Get Swirly

I am the hostess for the Splitcoast Free 4 All challenge this week.    I used the Stampin Up Swirly bird dies and the Tim Holtz Bird Crazy accessories stamps.   The sentiment is from Unity stamps.
I thought it was super cute.   I had no idea I would pair it with this die set.

Thanks, so much, for stopping by today.  I hope you liked my card.

Be The Moon - Eureka Stamps

Today starts a new challenge over at QKR Stampede challenge blog.   This week challenge is anything goes.  I used the Eureka Be The Moon Image #37302.  I ordered this stamp a few months ago to use for Bible Journaling. I actually ordered  several more stamps when I got this one and they were also for Bible Jouraling.  I really enjoy it.

Be sure and go over to the QKR Blog and see what the other gals have made for this challenge.  I have peeked at their cards and they really are cute.  I hope you will join us for the "anything goes"
challenge.

You all have a wonderful weekend.

Color Challenge - Easy Peasy Gone Wrong

I loved having a variety of choices for the color challenge today. It helped me use up some of my scraps and I sure have a lot of those.

This card started out to be a quick and easy card. It looks easy peasy, doesn't it? I spent more time than I would like to say arranging those little circles. I must be OCD or just plain Goofy.  The latter, I am sure.   Now I am not sure I can classify this as CAS.       LOL    Oh, well, all is good,  I love circles.

Do Not Be Troubled

Wow, I can't believe that it is the middle of September already.   This month is flying by.  I am loving the cooler weather, but I shudder to think of the cold weather that is going to follow.  I am not ready for winter.

I made this card for the CAS challenge on Splitcoast today.  We were to make a one layer card and add something that had to do with nature.    I brought out my Stampin Up Field Flowers set to stamp over the music background.    The scripture is a Our Daily Bread Designs stamp.   I used Tangelo Twist and Tangerine Tango for the bloom, the stem was stamped using Gumball Green.

I will be back on Friday with another card.  See you then.

Head on over to the QKR Stampede Blog to check out the new challenge and the cards the design team member have created.

QKR -Heard The News?

Hi Crafter's,  it is time for another challenge at QKR Stampede.  This week Karal gave us a recipe, use one digi, two designer papers and use three embellishments.     I used the News  Boy #15503 and the News Boys sentiment #15517.   This image is perfect for all occasions.   (baby announcement, birthday, congratulations and I am sending mine to the dealership where I bought my car.   It is very versatile.

I hope you will join us for the challenge and show us what you have made.  I have a link to the blog in my first sentence if you wish to join the challenge or to see the fab cards my team mates made.
