Jude turned three last week. It sure does not seem possible that he is already three. He really loves Monster Trucks. He went to a show on Saturday and he loved it. We had his birthday party yesterday so I wanted to keep in the theme of things and make him a monster truck card. The stamps I used are from Our Daily Bread Designs-Our Special Boy.
Thanks so much for looking at my card today.

Mixed Media Challenge
I made this card for the Splitcoast Mixed Media challenge this week and the Free 4 All challenge.
The Free 4 All challenge was to add something postal to our cards so I added the gold embossed stamp. The mixed challenge was to add a wild life adventure.
I used my gelli plate and acrylic paints to make the background with a stencil. I added Heide Swapp Spray Shine over the acrylic paints.
The giraffe is an older stamp by Mark's finest paper called "African Veld".

Classy Cards-Last Card-Beautiful Sunflowers
I am sad to say this will be my last post for Classy Cards N Such as they are closing on February 29th. I have certainly enjoyed working with Beverly and the other team members.
To brighten up the day I decided to make a card with Sunflowers on it. They are my favorite flowers and I think they are so cheerful looking.
I started my card with a brown card base. I layered it with red card stock and added a layer of Graphic 45 French Country designer paper. I really think these color compliment each other and are perfect for a card with a country feel.
I used red card stock to cut the Fleur De Lis Decorative Square. I used a square die to cut out a window to fit the Heartfelt Creations Sunflower Bouquet behind it. I stamped two of the images so I could fussy cut the sunflowers from the one to place in the corner. I shaped the flowers using the Paper Blossom Tool kit. I colored the images with copics. I adhered the three sunflowers on the corner of the first image and popped one of them up using a foam square. I used green card stock to cut the Marianne Anja Leaves 2 to place them under the sunflowers. I used my trusty Memory Box
Willoughby Butterfly Wings to cut the butterflies in the upper corner. This is the butterfly image that I use most. I used tear drop pearls to place on the butterfly and in the corners as the finishing touch to my card.
There is a big sale going on in the Classy Cards Store. Everything is 43% off.
Thank you for stopping by today.

QKR Stampede Challenge 180 - Birthday Card
The challenge over at the QKR Blog is to make a birthday card. I used the QKR Old Buzzard
image #8203. I loved this image the first time I saw and knew I would be making a card with it soon. The sentiment "Happy Birthday You Old Buzzard" was computer generated. I added some tail feather down on the bottom of the scalloped circle and on the other side I placed black stars with sequin centers. The image was colored with copics. I hope you will hop over to the blog and see what the other team members have made for this challenge. We hope you will join us for the challenge.

Does My Head Make My Ears Look Big???
I started off coloring my daffodils for the CAS365 challenge. I think
they may be a new hybrid daffodil-yes, that is it - it explains the new
color. After that I may have gotten a little carried away and now it may
not be considered CAS. I had a piece of water color paper that I had
already put gesso on. I used watered down acrylic paint to make the
background, added a little sponging and stamped some grass in. I
decided to put a little sunshine in the sky and decided I needed a bird.
After that I decided to make it an Easter card and added bunny ears.
I couldn't stop there, I had to put the second sentiment on it because
it will go to a lady at church who has a great sense of humor. I
apologize if I added too much, but adding more to this card was more fun
than giving my little fur baby a bath. He and I discussed it, he
was in full agreement so I kept creating. LOL Now I have to break the
news to him that he is getting a bath in a bit. He is not going to be
happy.
This is also for the Mix160 to put a face on it. I think a cute little bird face counts. Don't you?

Classy Cards - A New Baby
There is a new challenge at Classy Cards N Such today. The challenge is to make aqua and coral cards. I made a cute baby card using the Memory Box Baby Carriage. I added a coral punched heart to it and a few white pearls. I used Joy Foam squares to pop it up on the oval. I cut a plain oval and embossed it using the Crafts Too Dots embossing folder. I have to say this embossing folder is the one I use the most, it is my favorite. The decorative oval was made using the Spellbinders Floral Oval dies.
I hope you will come over to the blog and upload your card for our challenge - we love seeing your cards.
Classy Cards N Such store will be closing on the 29th. Be sure and check out the selection as there is a 38% discount on everything in the store. This is your chance to save on some of those things on your wishlist.

QRK Stampede - Picking Flowers
It is time for a new challenge over at the QKR Stampede blog. The challenge is to pile it on - use it up. I used the QRK Stampede image #11401 Picking Flowers. I colored the sweet image with copics and used a stitched oval to cut the image out. I layered it with a blue oval and a white scalloped oval.
The designer paper I used were from my scraps and I was able to use it up just like our challenge asked for. I cut some flower with my flower die and used my stylus to shape them. I popped them up on my card with foam squares. I added the flower corners and some rhinestones.
I hope you will join us for our Challenge. We love seeing the cards you make. You do not have to use a QKR Stampede image, but if you do, your chances to win will be better.
Thank you for coming by today. Have a fabulous weekend.

Classy Cards N Such - Heard You Caught A Bug
I made a Get Well card to share with you today. It seems to be that time of year that everyone is sick and the bug keeps hanging on. The bug I have really loves me, we are going on five weeks together. I hate to tell this little guy my feelings are not mutual. I believe he thinks we are going steady~smile~
I kept my card in monochromatic colors using the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper and vanilla card stock.
I cut the little jar from vanilla paper using the Sweet "N Sassy Get Well Critters dies. I stamped the bug and colored him with copics. For fun, I added some googly eyes hoping it will bring a smile to the recipient.
The sentiment was stamped on vanilla card stock that I cut using the Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence dies. I sponged around it with green ink. I added a twine bow at the top for the finishing touch.
Thank you, for stopping by today. Be sure and check out the Classy Cards Store for their 38% off of everything sale.

Classy Cards #124 - Lucky Dog
I have made a card for the new Classy Cards N Such Challenge for this week. We have an inspiration challenge picture with stuffed puppy dogs on it. We are suppose to use the colors, stitches or patterns on our cards. We can use them all if we like. I went with the colors and with the puppy dogs themselves.
All of the patterned paper that I used in my card including the image came from the Graphic 45 Raining Cats And Dogs Paper Pad. This paper does all the work and takes the guess out of what papers to put together for a card.
The circle was cut using the Spellbinders Teardrop Circles die. This set comes with four dies. I used the Spellbinders
Tool 'n One to clean my die. Here is a video on how well it works. It sure saves a lot of time.
I made my flower using Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamps and the matching die. I sponged them with ink. I shaped them using the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit. I added stickles to the center of the flowers. I colored the leaves, cut them out and scrunched the tips. Making flowers just doesn't get any easier than this.
Thank you, for stopping by today. I hope you will join us for the challenge.
P.S. Don't forget everything in the Classy Cards Store is 38% off.

QKR Stampede - Roasting Marshmallows
The QKR Stampede Blog challenge for this week is to make a card that is food related. I chose the Roasting Marshmallows image #12106. The sentiment was computer generated. I thought he was pretty cute propped up on the matchbox roasting the marshmallows. I chose to showcase my image with a center step card and the camping paper that I had in my stash. I hope you will come over to QKR Stampede and join us for the challenge. You do not have to use a QKR image, but if you do you will have a chance to win more images.

Classy Cards N Such - Be Mine
Here is a Valentine card I made for Classy Cards N Such this week. The store is really selling out of a lot of products. Everything is 38 % off now. When I make my cards I like to use products that are still available, but by the time my card publishes some of them are already gone. The Lace Hearts I used on this card has sold out already.
I started off with a white card base. I then used the Spellbinders A2Filigree Delight die to make the decorative red layer. The third layer was made by using the Large die from the Spellbinders
Floral Ovals die set on white card stock. I then used the smaller die using the same set to cut the red layer.
My heart was cut using the Spellbinder Lace Heart dies. I cut a white layer to go behind it. I put a red heart in the center. I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to adhere the pieces of my card together.
For the finishing touch of my card, I added a small checked heart with a button and added
White Pearls.
I am happy you came by today. Have a wonderful Valentine weekend.

Showers Of Blessings
I have made a card for the Classy Cards Challenge 123. The inspiration picture was of lovely lilacs, etc..
I started with a lilac card base, layered it with vanilla and the rain designer paper. When I started my card I had the cutest paper with rain, boots and clouds. As you can tell, I covered all of those things with the elements I added to my card.
I cute a scalloped square from vanilla Card Stock. The next layer was cut with the Spellbinders Decorative Curved Square die. I sponged distress ink over it and stamped a sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs Showers Of Blessings stamp set. I popped the sentiment up on the card using Joy Foam Pads.
I cut the umbrella with the Spellbinders Umbrella Trio. The heart was made using the Memory Box Precious Hearts die.
I added the rose lace at the bottom and added pearls for the finishing touch.
Thank you for taking a look at my card today.

Silver Hearts
I have made a wedding card to share with you today. It is made with neutral colors-this would also qualify for the Classy Cards Challenge for this week.
I used layers of Silver and White on my card. The top layer was embossed using the Crafts Too Dots
embossing folder. I cut two white hearts using the Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Hearts. I took a silver and white invitation that I had in my stash to use to cut the top hearts with the silver. I like recycling things like that. I popped them up on my card using Joy Foam Pads Small.
I took silver card stock and used the Memory Box Madera Corner die to cut two corner to use as flourished around the heart. I placed them behind the hearts and used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to adhere them to the card.
I used the Spellbinders Sentiments Three to cut the Love with Silver Card Stock. The silver heart at the top of my card was cut using the Impression Obsession Heart Flourish.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Alatte, Veterans!
I fell in love with this North Coast Creations stamp set called "Warm My Heart". Is it not just too cute? I have been making cards to be given to the veteran's who will be in the Veteran's Hospital on Valentine's Day. I thought this card was perfect to say "Thank You" to them and hopefully cheer up their day.
I hope you are having a good day and that you have sun shining on you today.

Beautiful Valentine - Red and White Hearts
Hello, crafty friends. I hope all of you are doing well this fine Monday morning. The sun is shining here and I am going to get outside to enjoy some of it today. We had rain yesterday so I am guessing some of my friends on the East coast may be getting that today.
The card I am showing you today is for Classy Cards N Such for their Hearts challenge #122. I chose to use red and white with a touch of silver for my card. Here is the challenge picture for today.
The silver foil heart was cut using the Impression Obsession Heart Flourish die. I cut the flourish in three pieces so I could use two of the pieces behind the heart.
I used Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive to adhere the card pieces together. I added pearls on the two corners from Finesse Swirls White Pearls.
I hope you liked the card for today. I hope to see your heart with red, pink and white hearts entered in the Classy Cards N Such challenge this week. Thanks, for coming by today.
Challenges:
Eureka Stamps - Add Sparkle (Sparkly red card stock)
Cut It Up Challenge - Love Is In The Air

This is the prize one lucky person will win for their entry for the challenge. This could really come in handy making your Valentine cards.
Now we will get back to the card I created. I started with a white glossy card base and added a layer of red foil card stock. The next white layer was made using the ODBD Lacey Square die. I added another piece of the red foil card stock followed with the Spellbinders Vines of Passion die, but one could use the Memory Box LaRue Heart in place of it. I don't have that die, but I plan to get it soon. The silver foil heart was cut using the Impression Obsession Heart Flourish die.
