Blue Knight - Tall Pines

Hello Friends.  Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Tall Pines.

For this card I stamped the image on my card stock.  I used  Sunrise- Sunset Pan Pastels to make the sky.  When I got my sky to the color I wanted I stamped my image again.

I used a Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and distress inks (Spun Sugar and Faded Lilac) to create my clouds on white card stock.  I, then, stamped my image over the top of the clouds.

Thanks, so much, for coming by today.  Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Book Town

Hello, hope this finds you all doing well and off to a good start to the new week.  I am starting my Monday off with sharing cards that I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Book Town.

I started my first card by stamping the image on white card stock.  I used Copic Markers to color my book town.  I used distress ink and a Heidi Pettie Cloud stencil to make the sky.

I like to color, but I know there are some of you who do not so I wanted to show you an easier way to use this stamp.  I picked out a piece of designer paper and stamped my image directly on it.   You can choose different papers and make an array of cards using the Book Town stamp. It looks good on a blue paper that was in the same pad as the pink one.

Thank you, so much, for coming by today.  Let me know what you think of my cards and what would be your preference in coloring this image.

Have a great week.

Bodie Island Lighthouse

Hello Friends,   Today I am sharing cards with you that are from the Blue Knight Bodie Island Lighthouse stamp set.  It contains the Bodie Lighthouse stamp and three accessory stamps.

Both cards were made basically the same other than I used different colors.  I stamped the lighthouse image on white card stock.  The first card was colored with Copic Markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and Distress Inks to make the clouds.

The second card was colored with Pan Pastels and Copic Markers.  I added a child flying a kite to this one.  (this stamp comes with the set)

I apologize if I have been late getting to your blogs to comment.
I have been sick for about seven weeks so most of my days have been spent in bed.  I had allergic reaction to meds last week.  I got that changed and I am feeling better.  I have fingers crossed that I won't need further meds.

Thank you, for stopping by my blog and taking a look at the Bodie Island Lighthouse cards.

Thanks - One Line Sentiments Stamp Set

Today I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made featuring the new Thank You One Line Sentiments set.

For this first card I stamped the Seaside Treasure  Hunt image on white card stock and used Pan Pastels to color the water and the colorful sky.   I stamped Thank You One Line sentiments and cut it out with scissors and added a piece of adhesive foam strip by Scrapbook Adhesives.  The strips work perfect with the sentiment.

The second card was pretty easy to make.  I stamped the Iwo Jima image on designer paper.  I added the Thank you One Line Sentiments on the bottom with a foam strip like I mentioned above.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the one line sentiment set with the two other stamp sets.

Have a great week and I hope you come back to visit soon.

Silhouette Farmland

Hello, Friends.  Today I am showcasing a new set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps called Silhouette Farmland.

For my first card, I decided to make a mini card.  I stamped the Silhouette Farmland stamp on Stampin' Up-New Horizons designer paper.  I really liked the way the farmland looked on it.  I used mini rectangle dies to make my mats.  A super easy card.

I made my background using Pan Pastels-Sunset Palette.  I stamped the Silhouette Farmland on it. I used the Lucky YOU one line sentiment on white Cardstock to add to it.  Another quick card.  I enjoyed working with the pan pastels, they always make a beautiful background.

Thank you, very much, for stopping in today to see what I have been up to.  You all have a wonderful week.

Blue Knight Lampost

Hello, Everyone.   I hope you all had a great weekend.  I had a good one, but it was a busy one.  Yesterday was a fun day, I went to Collinsville to the stamp show.  It was fun.  I have not been to it in many years.  Blue Knight Rubber Stamps was there and I had to go see Lynn and Scott.  It is always good to see them. Lynn was busy at her make and take table.  She always has awesome cards and demonstrates how to quickly make a beautiful card.

Today I am showcasing two cards with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Lampost  stamp.

These two cards were basically made the same, I just used different colors on them.  I stamped the image and sentiment, for both of them on white Cardstock.  I colored the images with Copic's and sponged the clouds using the Heidi Pettie Cloud stencil with turquoise ink.

I stamped the Winter Tree with Fence and the verse from Bible Verses 1.    I colored the grass and fence with  Copic markers and sponged the clouds in the sky.  I made the mats and attached them to the card base to finish my card.

This card was made pretty much the same as the first.  I just used white embossing powder on the black card stock.
