Blue Knight - Path to the Barn

Hello, friends.  Happy you came by today.  I have a card I made using Blue Knight Rubber Stamps -

Path to the Barn.  I made this one a winter scene since some of you are already having a lot of this white stuff in your area.

I started out by stamping my image on a white piece of card stock.  I used  Copic Markers to to color my image.  I used a Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and two colors of distress inks to make the sky. I used a makeup
brush to sponge the colors over the cloud stencil.

Thank you, for stopping in today.  Have a great week.

Winter Barn Christmas Card

 Hello,  Friends,

Hope you are all ready for another Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Christmas card.  I am sharing cards made with the Winter Barn Stamp set.

For this card, I stamped it on white card stock.  I colored it with Copic markers and sponged the sky with a Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil.  I used a oval stitched die to cut the barn from the card stock.

This card was my favorite and I couldn't get a really good picture of it.  I basically colored this image the same and used the same cloud template .  I added Merry Christmas on the barn roof and liked how it it looked.

Thank you, for coming by and taking a look at my card today.

Winter Tree with Fence Christmas card

Hello, Friends.  Hope this finds you all well and doing great.  We are having a little cooler temps, but still have a few warm days.  I think this might be the last week for the warm days according to what the the weather report says.  I am not ready for those temps that me go "brrrrrrrrrrrrr".

Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  I am using the Winter Tree with Fence Stamp, Horse and Sleigh and  Christmas Koala stamps.  I really like the way this one came out.  I will be making more of this one.

All of the above stamp sets are highlighted in blue, but only one would come out in color.  Sometimes I highlight and none of them have the color.  Crazy blogger glitch, I guess.

I started by stamping the winter tree with fence, the horse and sleigh and the sentiment from Christmas Koala on my card stock. I added the clouds using the Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and turquoise ink.  I matted it with silver card stock.  I went through all my paper stash and did not find a paper that matched my image exactly.  I am a little OCD so I kept looking in every nook and cranny that I might have stored paper.   Still nothing suited me.   I finally picked a piece of silver and white paper, I took my cosmetic brush, one I use for crafts, and brushed turquoise ink across it.  Viola, a perfect match.  Now I am wishing I had more of that paper, but I still have a few sheets to use for my Christmas cards, I plan to make just like this one..   I added my panels to my card base to complete my card.

Thank you, for coming by today.  I appreciate you stopping in to view my cards and seeing your comment.  Have a wonderful week.

Horse and Sleigh

Hello, I am back today with cards I made using the Horse and Sleigh set from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I have thought of making a black and white card with this set for quite some time. I decided it was time to pick out paper and make it happen.  I started by embossing the horse and sleigh with fine black embossing powder on my white card stock panel.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock, from the Warm Hedgehog stamp set, using black ink.  I used red decorative paper cord to make the red wreath.  I made panels using designer paper   I then, put everything together to place on the card base.

For this card I used blue and silver sparkly paper and Reminence designer paper.    I stamped my Horse and Sleigh directly on the designer paper.  It was a fairly quick card and I was happy with the end result.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I hope you liked the cards.  Have a great week.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Two Paths

Hello, I can't believe that October is just flying right by. I  am watching the trees start to change colors and realizing that winter is upon us.  I am not ready for cold weather.  We have two more weeks of October and I am going to enjoy the Fall weather and try not to think about winter.  My card today is a Fall card and I used the Two Paths stamp set by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.

I stamped the Two Paths image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers.  I colored the trees to fit the Fall theme the Blue Knight Design Team is using for this month.  Next I stamped the Let's Ride Volkswagon on white card stock, colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut the image and adhered it to the main image.  Last but not least, I stamped the Blessings One Line Sentiment on white card stock and used Dimensionals to adhere it to my card.

Blue Knight Daring Adventures

Hello Friends, hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  We had a couple of chilly nights, but today it is going to warm up for a few days.

The team members of Blue Knight Rubber Stamps is making Fall themed cards this month.  I chose to use the stamp set Daring Adventure for my card this week.

I stamped my Jeep on a piece of white card stock and colored the Jeep with Copic Markers.   I fussy cut the Jeep because I did not have the new Daring Adventure die yet, but I have it now to use on my next project.  I adhered the Jeep to a piece of designer paper from  Divinity Design.  I love the Fall view on this card.  If you are looking for ways to make cards quickly, this one was really quick and easy.

For this card I stamped the image on my card stock.  I used  Sunrise- Sunset Pan Pastels to make the sky.  When I got my sky to the color I wanted I stamped my image again.

I used a Heidi Pettie cloud stencil and distress inks (Spun Sugar and Faded Lilac) to create my clouds on white card stock.  I, then, stamped my image over the top of the clouds.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Book Town

Hello, hope this finds you all doing well and off to a good start to the new week.  I am starting my Monday off with sharing cards that I made with Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Book Town.

I started my first card by stamping the image on white card stock.  I used Copic Markers to color my book town.  I used distress ink and a Heidi Pettie Cloud stencil to make the sky.

I like to color, but I know there are some of you who do not so I wanted to show you an easier way to use this stamp.  I picked out a piece of designer paper and stamped my image directly on it.   You can choose different papers and make an array of cards using the Book Town stamp. It looks good on a blue paper that was in the same pad as the pink one.

Thank you, so much, for coming by today.  Let me know what you think of my cards and what would be your preference in coloring this image.

Have a great week.

Bodie Island Lighthouse

Hello Friends,   Today I am sharing cards with you that are from the Blue Knight Bodie Island Lighthouse stamp set.  It contains the Bodie Lighthouse stamp and three accessory stamps.

Both cards were made basically the same other than I used different colors.  I stamped the lighthouse image on white card stock.  The first card was colored with Copic Markers.  I used the Heidi Pettie Cloud Stencil and Distress Inks to make the clouds.

The second card was colored with Pan Pastels and Copic Markers.  I added a child flying a kite to this one.  (this stamp comes with the set)

I apologize if I have been late getting to your blogs to comment.
I have been sick for about seven weeks so most of my days have been spent in bed.  I had allergic reaction to meds last week.  I got that changed and I am feeling better.  I have fingers crossed that I won't need further meds.

Thank you, for stopping by my blog and taking a look at the Bodie Island Lighthouse cards.

For this first card I stamped the Seaside Treasure  Hunt image on white card stock and used Pan Pastels to color the water and the colorful sky.   I stamped Thank You One Line sentiments and cut it out with scissors and added a piece of adhesive foam strip by Scrapbook Adhesives.  The strips work perfect with the sentiment.

The second card was pretty easy to make.  I stamped the Iwo Jima image on designer paper.  I added the Thank you One Line Sentiments on the bottom with a foam strip like I mentioned above.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the one line sentiment set with the two other stamp sets.
