Classy Cards N Such Book Card

 Here is a book card I made last week when my friend Sue was visiting.   She is the best for figuring out fancy fold cards.  She teaches me a new one every time she visits.

The paper I used is from a Heartfelt Creations 12 X 12  Birds and Blooms Paper Pad.  The flowers were stamped with the Heartfelt Creations Botancial Rose stamps and cut out using the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Wings die.

The inside was pretty easy to decorate using the Birds and Blooms paper, lace and pearls.  The sentiments are from the ODBD Ornate Frame Sentiment stamps and from the ODBD No Words set.

Here is the card I made with the Pots and Vases Set

I had fun with this one.  When I saw the flower pots,   I thought of the people flower pots that I have seen.   The legs were made with the long vase stamp.  I also used the MFP Stamps sets called 
Vintage Fashion and Huge Blooms.   I have a friend at church who loves to make her flower pots look unusual so this card will be going to her.  She has been under the weather for a while and I hope it will bring a smile to her face.

Along with the Pots and Vases stamps I used the MFP Amaryllis Definition stamp set.

Classy Cards N Such - Red, White and Blue challenge

Classy Cards N Such challenge blog has a new challenge today.  It is the red, white and blue challenge.  I used the By The Sea Graphic 45 paper for my card.  I used the Impression Obsession Mini Nautical die set along with the Impression Obsession Mini Shell die set.   For full details of my card, which tells what I filled the bottle with and the use of an onion sack, please check it out here.

Mix Media Challenge - Under the Boardwalk

Here is a card I made for the mix challenge today on Splitcoast Stamping.  We were to use four mediums and that is totally out of my comfort zone.  I used the Artistic Outpost Boardwalk stamps.  The background was sprayed with Dilusions sprays and a gold glitter spray.  I stamped the image with Stazon.  I used heavy gesso for the sand and added inka gold over the top of it.  I added the spanish moss to look like seaweed.    The girl is colored with copics.  I added the shells and some gold stars to finish off the card.

Classy Cards N Such - God Is

Here is a card I made for Classy Cards N Such.   I really like the Sue Wilson die, Spanish Collection-Seville) it always looks so elegant.  I added some roses from my stash and used the flourish from the Impression Obsession Heart Flourish.    I tied the gingham bow using the bow easy.

Free 4 All - Sand Between My Toes

Here is a card I made for the Free 4 All Challenge this past week.  I hosted the challenge and the theme was sand between my toes.  This Bugawump image was perfect for it.

I made this card for the sketch challenge this week.  It looks like a storm is brewing.

Classy Cards N Such - Birds and Butterflies

Here is the card I made for the Hummingbird challenge for Classy Cards N Such.  I chose to use paper that has hummingbirds on it.  I used the Spellbinders Mary die using a green paper from the Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Paper and a brown for the top layer of it.  I used the Memory Box Rhone Butterfly Wings to cut the pink and blue butterflies and added pearls.  I used Poppy Stamps country fence die at the bottom of the card.   I added the Hello from the Impression Obsession greeting die set.  I put sequins over my card to give it some bling.

Classy Cards - Pretty Red Poppies

Here is a card I made in one of my very favorite color combos.  I also used one of my favorite dies - the Sue Wilson Beverly Hills die.  The Memory Box Prim Poppy die is a perfect die to use if you are looking for a quick card with no coloring.   The bow is a Sue Wilson  Itty Bitty Bow die.  I used it differently than it was planned for.  I used both the tail pieces and did not use the actual bow.  I thought it was kind of cute this way.  I attached the pieces using Art Institute adhesive.  This glue is perfect for gluing especially if you want a fast drying glue.  I have a friend visiting this week and she is really liking this glue.

Classy Cards N Such - Not A Moment

I made a card for the Classy Cards N Such Blog with one of my favorite color combo's.  I like pink and adding black makes it even better, in my opinion.  I used a sentiment for my card using the Sweet N Sassy stamp set  "God Is".  I stamped it and used the Spellbinders Fancy Labels One to cut the sentiment out.  I added pink and black bling to help tie it all together.  For full details of my card please visit the blog.

Classy Cards N Such - I Love My Dog

Classy Cards N Such have a new challenge up for the week.  We were given a Mother's Day  inspiration picture and this is the card I made for it.  The flower reminded of the one on the picture.  I added some blue in that was in the picture, but I have it almost all covered up with flowers and images.  I used the Graphic 45 paper, Raining Cats and Dogs.  I love this paper pack.  My flowers were stamped and cut out with  a Heartfelt Creations stamp and die.  I added gold micro beads and gold netting for card appeal.  If they talk about Curb Appeal on HGTV then I can talk about Card Appeal. ~grin~  Can't I?

Classy Cards N Such - Umbrella Blessings

Here is a card I made for the Classy Cards N Such blog for today.  This was a fun card to make with the pretty embossed paper.  It is kind of a different card for me because I used soft subtle colors.  I have been using my umbrella  trio die a lot lately.    I hope you can see my country fence as I sponged it the color of the background of the floral paper.  For full details of my card, please go Here.
