Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge Masquerade Masks

Today over at Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge, we have some masquerade mask pictures for our inspiration.  I used a Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called "Be a Showoff".  I know, my card is a little wild, but that is okay.  ~grin~  My DH thought it was a whole lot wild and  also weird.  I used fun fur with the peacock feather and  feathered ribbon under the butterfly.

Here is the picture I cased for my card:

Now you can see there is a butterfly on the side of the mask, the peacock feathers, etc.   I was
wishing that I had some black sequins, but I didn't find any in my stash.

CCEE Stampers Challenge 1344 - Adopt a Dog Month

The month of October  is Adopt A Shelter Dog Month so the challenge is to make a card with a dog on it.   I am using an older stamp set by Craft Lounge today for this challenge.  I always loved this set and have not used it for a very long time.   The card was in a boxed set by We R Memory Keepers-Boho design.  I bought it on a trip to Pennsylvania when  I met Vicky Gould several years ago before we were design team sisters.  The box of cards was one of my finds on our shopping trip. That was certainly a fun day.

Squigglefly - Thankful for you

The Squigglefly challenge this week is to make a card with the theme-thankful for you.  I chose to use the Squigglefly image "Hugs" by Angela Donato.   Isn't  this little gal cute?   I can visualize her in a red outfit on a Valentine card  being a little shy, which was actually my thought when I purchased her.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Farm Scene

Today's challenge over at Speedy Fox and Friends is to make a Farm scene.  I chose to use the
Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called "Flaps my Wattles".  I used raffia to make it look like straw, sponged clouds and dirt, and  I added some flowers to give it a little extra zip.

CCEE-Non Traditional Halloween card #1343Anne

Anne over at the CCEE Stampers gave the challenge for this week.  We were to make a Halloween card using NO orange, black, purple or green.   I noticed that I did make her shoes black, but I will pretend not to see that.   Sage shadow is surely not green, is it?  LOL  I did really good until it came to picking out paper to go with my colored image and this was the perfect dp for this little gal.  I am already preparing my case for  when the challenge police arrive at my door. ~grin~ Maybe I should make them cookies, too.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Zoo Scene

The Speedy Fox and Friends challenge today is to make a zoo scene.  I chose to use the Mark's Finest Paper stamp set "Zoo Friends".  I used the Stephanie Barnard "Sizzix" flip it die to make my card.  It is really an awesome die.  Thanks, to my sister, for bringing it for me to play with.

Inspiration Challenge - Beautiful Leaves

The inspiration challenge over at Speedy TV is all about the beautiful leaves.  I used Mark's Finest Paper Stamps "Autumn Glory" and "Autumn Splendor".  This picture of my card does not show the embossing on the acorns real well.  In real life they really shine with the gold embossing.  I created the leaves by rubbing ink pads over them, then I used versa mark and clear embossed them.  I was really pleased with the out come.  We have chosen some really pretty leaves for the inspiration challenge, I hope you will head on over to Speedy TV.   Kathy, Nancy and I would love to have you join us.

CCEE Stampers Challenge - You don't bring me flowers

The challenge this week over at the CCEE Stampers is to make a card with flowers.  The theme is "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" which is an old song.   I chose to use Rubbernecker stamps today that I picked up at the stamp convention this year and which had not seen ink yet.  I think they were feeling very unloved.  ~grin~  I hope you will head on over to the Blog and see what the other girls have made and join us for the challenge.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Let's Play Football

Today over at Speedy TV Inspiration challenge  we are playing football.   We are having some great football weather.  The nights here are just a little crisp and that is definitely good weather for football.  Also good for sitting on the patio with some logs in the fire pit.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Snow Scene

The Speedy Fox and Friends challenge for today is to make a card with a snow scene.
I used Mark's Finest Paper Stamps "Trip to Lancaster".   I sponged in snow and clouds to make it look like a snow storm, not sure I succeeded in that look.  ~grin~  I did, however, succeed to make another Christmas card.   It won't be long before we are needing lots of them.  I hope you will be able to join us for the challenge.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - Popcorn

I am really having fun with the Speedy TV Inspiration challenge.  This week I have chose 3 images with popcorn for us to get our inspiration from.  I used the Mark's Finest Paper stamps called "Now Showing".   I did the magic masking to get the stripes on the card.   To finish my card, I tied it up with some fun fur.

Here is a card I made for the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Susie this week and it is also for the CCEE Stampers challenge. Anne is the CCEE Hostess this week and sinceOctober's gem stone is the Opal and it is oval in shape, she wants us to make an oval card or a card with an oval on it.   I chose so use this cute Squigglefly image "Snowy Card" by Marla Shega.  I am still in love with the red/black color combo for Christmas cards so I have made another one.  Come on over to the CCEE blog
