Purple Christmas - Speedy Fox and Friends

The challenge for the Speedy Fox and Friends blog is to make a purple Christmas card.  I used the  Marks Finest Paper stamps  called "Wise Men",  a  mini set.  I used purple and gold embossing powder.   Be sure and come over to the MFP blog and join us for the challenge.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - CCEE Sketch

This week the Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge has some cool pictures of tattoo's for the inspiration piece.  For my card, I chose to use the Mark's Finest Paper Santa image from the "Holly Jolly" stamp set.  The sentiment is from "Your an Angel".  I used the sketch from the CCEE Stampers challenge.

CCEE Stampers Challenge - Embossing Speedy Fox Challenge - Green Christmas

This week the CCEE Stampers challenge is to make a card with either dry or wet embossing.   I used green and silver paper,  to go along with Speedy Fox and Friends them of a green Christmas, on my Easel card.  I chose to use the Mark's Finest Paper new stamp  set called "A Chill in the Air".  I love primitive stamps so I gave this stamp a Primitive look.  I stamped the image once and without reinking, I stamped it beside the first image to make the branch look really full.  I added some white paint to the limb for my snow.  I used a copic marker to make the red berries.  The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from another Mark's Finest Paper stamp set.  In our blog hop this week, Janine used ornaments on her tree branch and I thought that was a great idea so I added ornaments also.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - At the Hop

The Speedy TV Inspiration challenge theme for this week is "At the Hop".   I really had fun with this one.  I used a background stamp by Mark's Finest Paper called "Pocket Watches".  I decided on this one when I thought of the old rock and roll song "Rock around the Clock".    Who can think of a sock hop and not think of a cute poodle skirt.  I used the Silhouette to cut out the outfit and the 45 record.  I finished up by using the Mark's Finest Paper stamp set "You've got Style".  I hope you have enjoyed seeing this card as much as I enjoyed making it.   I hope you will come and join us for the challenge.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Red Christmas

Today over at Speedy Fox and Friends, we have been challenged to make a red Christmas card.
I chose to use the Mark's Finest Paper  Christmas cardinal stamp set.   I used a Spellbinder die to make the frame, did dry embossing on the white card stock and tied it up with Silver cording.  I hope you can come over to the blog and see what the other team members made.  We would also like for you to join us for the challenge.

The Speedy Fox challenge this week is  "White Christmas".  I kept my card all white, but wanted to add some silver  embossing to give it some pizzazz.  I used the stamp set "Scenic Selections" for the trees.
