Happy Meal

My daughter has a friend who loves to get mail and loves hamburgers.  I thought this card would make him doubly happy.   I used Your Next Stamp Happy Meal stamp set.    I stamped my images on white card stock, colored them and then fussy cut them so I could place them on the card exactly the way I wanted.  This was a fun card to make.

Colorful Beach

Hi, I hope you are all having a nice weekend.  I know some in the Northern United States are
getting snow today.  We are getting rain and the rivers are already full.

I made my card using stamps from Blue Knight called Relaxing on the Beach,  Hot Air Balloons and Birds 2.  I colored my image using copics and sponged some clouds in the sky. 

I think I might like to be painted in the chair in this picture.  I could use some sun not only to warm me up,  but to cheer me up, too.  I am tired of dreary weather.  The good news - Spring can't be very far off,  we have almost made it through the winter.

Here is a cute card that I made using the Neat & Tangled "Say Yes to Donuts" stamp set.  I like the simplicity of this card.  I thought the checked paper went perfect with this little gal's shoes.

Wild West Man-Key To My Heart

I loved the challenge for Splitcoast today with the theme of "Go West Young Man".    Of course I had to use my SU Stampin' Up Wild Wild West man.  I was fortunate to get this set.  Some of my friends (thank you, friends) went together to purchase it for me a few years ago for my 110th birthday or was that the 113th?  The years just all run together when you get to be that age.   ~giggle~ 

This is also for the SCS Central challenge Cold Hands - Warm Heart.   I think a gal might just be able to warm his heart up a little more by giving him a secret key to her heart.   Well, a gal can dream, can't she?  I know-chuckle, chuckle.

QKR Stampede - Birdhouse

The challenge for the QKR Stampede blog is  always "Anything Goes".    (as always)  This week I used the birdhouse image.  I used the current sketch from Splitcoast Stampers for my card.  I thought the sketch was perfect for the image.

Old Car Has New Paint

Here is a card I made using the Blue Knight Rubber Stamp called "Car With Scene".   I know these old cars were originally all black ones.  I wanted to add some color so my old car got new paint. 
~smile~  I added black and yellow card stock along with some hounds tooth designer paper.  I put a road sign sticker in the top corner.  The image was colored with copics.

Happy Birthdy You Old Buzzard

I made this card for the "anything goes" challenge over at the QKR Stampede Blog.   I wanted to make a humorous birthday card for a friend of my husbands.   I used the image Buzzard.  This image always makes me smile.   My sentiment is computer generated.  The inside says, "You Old Buzzard".

QKR Stampede - Wild Thing - Zebra

For the QKR Stampede challenge, anything goes, I used the zebra image.  I used Spellbinder  and Sizzix heart dies for the heart layers.  I used a heart punch for the little hearts I spread around Mr. Zebra.  My sentiment is computer generated and I used a Flourish die on the sentiment.  It doesn't show up very well, but the black panel is embossed with hearts.
