Guess what time it is? That's right, time for another Speedy Fox and Friends challenge. This week the challenge is to make a card with purple. I chose to use the Mark's Finest Paper stamps "Pansy Riot" for this challenge. I had some other embellishments I was going to add to the card, but I really like the clean look of the card and did not want to take away from it. Isn't it funny how our likes and dislikes change. I use to like lots of things on my cards, but now I like less of it. I do like the checked ribbon as it gives it a country feel and if you know me, you know I like country accents. I sure hope you will join us for the challenge and upload your card to Speedy Fox and Friends.

CCEE Stampers - Dryer Sheet Flower Technique
The challenge for the CCEE Stampers challenge this week is to make a card with a flower made from a dryer sheet. I have seen this technique before, but had never made one. I cut my flowers from the dryer sheet, I dyed them with copic refill ink and then I used stickles around the flower.

Speedy TV Scrapbook challenge
I made this for the scrapbook challenge over at Speedy TV. This week the challenge is anything goes.
My page is about me learning to shoot. When my husband purchased me a gun, I went target practicing every day until I could split a playing card that was placed sideways (thin side) in the target.
If you look close you can see the slits in the cards from being shot.
Be sure and check out Speedy TV there is a new challenge there almost every day.
Thanks, for coming by today.
Squigglefly Challenge - Long and Short of it
The Squigglefly challenge for today is the long and short of it. I had to think on this one.
I decided if I did the brick wall technique and kept one side of it long and 3 shorter pieces that it should qualify for the challenge. I decided to use the Squigglefly image "Pile of Dogs" for this challenge.

Speedy Fox - Time for the Beach
Another Saturday has rolled around and Speedy Fox and Friends have another fun challenge
ready for us. This week the challenge is to make a beach related card. I chose to use the stamps by Mark's Finest Paper called "Island Life".
I hope you will join the challenge with us. You do not have to use Mark's Finest Paper stamps, but if you do, your name will go in the drawing twice. Be sure and load your card up to the challenge blog and to Speedy TV card gallery.

Free For All - A Quick One
Today's Free 4 all challenge at Splitcoast was to make a quick card. I know you might
be thinking this was not quick, but really it was. I had stamped the
doily and embossed the flowers for another card a while back, but I did
not like where I stamped it on my card. It has been laying on my craft
table and this was the perfect opportunity to use it.

CCEEStampers Challenge #1325 - Masculine card
The CCEE Stampers challenge this week is to make a masculine card. I was happy to see
this challenge as I am in need of some masculine birthday cards. I have had this Stampin' Up stamp set
for a couple of months and decided this was the perfect challenge to ink it up. The paper I used with it is Graphic 45.

Squigglefly challenge - Red, White and Blue
Holley's Hobbiest's are giving the challenge over at the Squigglefly blog today. They are challenging everyone to make a red, white and blue card. I chose a Squigglefly image by Cheryl Grant Alger called "Pondering Thoughts". It looks like Sally has found the perfect spot in the park to watch fireworks. She is anxiously awaiting dusk for them to start as she wiggles her toes in the grass.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge - Y is for Yardage
It is time for a new challenge over at Speedy Fox and Friends. The challenge this week
is the letter Y. I decided that yards or yardage would work perfect with this
Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called "I'm in Stitches". I stamped my measuring tape and the scissors on Doodlebug paper and cut them out. I cut the buttons from the same paper pad. I had
a couple of mini wooden spools that was left over from when I use to do craft shows. I had my DH go to the wood shop and split one in half to use on the card. I wrapped some shiny cording around it for thread. Then I added a sentiment, a flower, lace and a bow. The spool card was cut with a Silhouette.
I hope you will come on over to the Speedy Fox Blog and enter your card in the challenge. Also, if you have never been to Speedy TV, I hope you will take a look there. They have a gallery filled with awesome cards. Anyone can join and upload their cards there. Each day there is a new challenge there. Wow, that gives you lots of chance to enter to win free stamps. You will also find lots of tutorials there.

My Boy Jake - Speedy TV Scrapbook Challenge
Here is a scrapbook page I made for the Speedy TV scrapbook challenge. The challenge is to have something black and white on your monocromatic page. I used the sentiment "I miss you" from the Mark's Finest Paper stamp set called "All Postal". I never tire of looking at this picture of my boy Jake. I lost Jake several years ago, but I still miss him. He was a pup out of my only litter of boxers. He was an exceptionally good dog and was a beautiful brindle boxer.
This is also for the Free 4 all challenge over at Splitcoast. The challenge there is to make a creation with pleats.

"You Are an Angel"
"Wings"
This was an easy set for me to work with. I love anything Americana. The colors of red, white and blue are just beautiful together. Not only will the set be good for July 4th cards, but for both adult and children's birthdays and it is so perfect for cards to send to our servicemen and women.
Come back tomorrow for the last day of our blog hop. We will be showing cards made with the classic dad set. See you then.
CCEE Stampers #1324 - Baby Card
The CCEE Stampers Challenge this week is to make a baby card. Benzi told us if we use yellow and green we get bonus points. I tried, but I didn't have the right colors of copics to match the yellow in my paper so I ended up using two colors of green. Since there are yellow duckies on the designer paper, I am sure I will get the extra credit. ~grin~ If you want to have some fun or need a baby card, we would love to have you join us for this challenge.
The stamps I used is an older set from Stampin' Up called "A New Little Someone". The peekaboo sentiment is a Paper Studio stamp. The paper I used is also Paper Studio.

This was a fun stamp set to work with. I like making clouds so this was right up my alley, as the saying
goes. Isn't it amazing how we look for the perfect piece of designer paper with the perfect match of colors just to cover it up? ~grin~ I seem to do that a lot. I hope you are enjoying the first day of our blog hop. I will see you tomorrow with a card with another new set that is debuting in the Mark's Finest Paper store.

Mark's Finest Paper NEW 5th and Mini sets
The first card is made with the new Mini set from Mark's Finest paper called "Wings". I can see this set used to make fancy cards, everyday cards or for someone who just lost a pet with the pets picture where the pet is wearing the angel wings. I used the sentiment from the 5th set " You are an Angel".
The second and third card is made with the new 5th set from Mark's called "You are an Angel". The columns in the second card are from another set that came out a couple of months ago called "Columns and Topiaries". This set can be used for Christmas cards, when someone does something nice for you or as a sympathy card.
Now this is my opinion, but you may have lots of other ideas of what you want to do with this set.
Have a wonderful day. I will be back tomorrow - it will be the first day of Mark's Finest Paper blog hop.
Be sure and join us every day this week to see cards made with all the new sets that are debuting in the Mark's Finest Paper store.
Squigglefly #2313 - Wrap it Up Challenge
Happy Monday and welcome to a new Squigglefly Challenge. Today Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals are giving the challenge. The challenge is to make a card where you wrap ribbon or twine around a layer, wrap a die cut around a corner, use wrapping paper instead of designer paper ribbon, use an image with a wrapped gift, etc.. I chose to use the Squigglefly image called "power of prayer" by Lynne Stansbery. The beads in the image is wrapped around the fingers so I thought this would be a perfect image for the challenge. I also wrapped ribbon on the card, as well. Head on over to the Squigglefly blog to check out the other team members blogs and to join this challenge if you wish.

Speedy Fox and Friends Envelope Card Challenge
Speedy Fox and Friends has another fun challenge for us today. The challenge is to make a envelope card. Making the cards with a fold is a challenge to me, but this one was not bad at all to make.
I started out with Daisy D's double sided paper. Next I reached for my Mark's Finest Paper Stamps-
"Hummin' Along" and colored the images with copies. I added the outside sentiment from a Mark's set called Big Trucks. I decided to use a doily on the front of the card and add seam binding ribbon.
Be sure and stop by the Speedy Fox and Friends blog to check out the other team members cards. I hope you will make your own envelope card to upload to the blog for a chance to win a free stamp set.
You do not have to use a Mark's Finest Paper stamp, but your name will be put in the drawing twice if you do.
If you need a tutorial on this card, Patty Penn has an excellent one here.
Thanks, for coming by today.

CCEE Stampers #1323 - Direct to Paper Technique
Benzi, is the hostess this month for the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. For the first week, she has challenged us to do the direct to paper technique. I must say I have never done this before and procrastinated, but I really liked the way it turned out. I will do this technique again. Thanks, Benzi, for such a great challenge. I chose to use the "Wild and Free" stamp set by Mark's Finest Paper. Be sure and stop by the blog to check out the other stampers cards and to upload your Direct to Paper technique card.
Thanks, for stopping by.

Puppy Love and Feeling Fowl?
Here are a couple of the new releases from the Squigglefly store. The first card is made by Fawn Palmer and it is called Puppy Love. The second card is "Feeling Fowl?" by Pamela Lehto.
My internet was out for a couple of days so I have two posts today. Thanks, for stopping by.
Challenges:
Marker Pop - Must be about love so "Puppy Love" should work for this challenge.
Squigglefly Summertime Card
The Squigglefly blog challenge this week is to make a summertime theme card--think of the outdoors, beaches, playing, leaving school, vacations, summertime holidays. All the great things we get during the summer time. For this challenge I used a new Squigglefly image by Cheryl Grant Alger called "Noah's Swing".
