Quick and Easy Cards

I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge this week.  Priscilla aka catluver2 was honored this week.  I loved her gallery and it was hard to pick just one card to case.  I liked one in particular where she used a dotted stencil so I decided to case it.

This card is made with colors from the color challenge this week, pear pizzazz, primrose petals and wisteria.   I first used the magic masking tape technique and stamped the image.  I decided I needed more colors so I still had the stencil on my work area and decided to use it on this card, too.

Squigglegly Challenge - Mother

Hello and welcome to another Squigglefly challenge today, brought to you by Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals.  Rhonda has asked us to make a card for a Mother,  Grandmother or other special mom figure.

Splitcoast Stampers Challenge Cards

This is a card I made for the Ways to Use It challenge this week.  We were suppose to put a tree on our cards in honor of Arbor Day.  I used the stamp set by Stampin Up called "Good Neighbors".

Here is a card I made with a Stampington Stamp that a friend sent to me.   I told her I liked Steampunk, but I sure wasn't any good  with that type of card.  She told me she had a stamp she was sending my way.   I used a stencil, Distress inks and and embossing folder to make this card.

I made this card with stamps I got at stamp convention last year from Stampland.   This card was made for the SCS Technique Lovers challenge.   The technique was Pointillism.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Rain

Speedy Fox and Friends have a challenge this week called "Rain".    That means you can make a card with something related to rain.  I thought of rain drops and umbrella's.  I used the "Rain Clouds" stamp set by Mark's Finest Paper.

I hope you have beautiful weather this weekend and the rain clouds stay away.   We are hoping for clear skies in our neck of the woods.  My hubby is hoping to get on the race track and try out his new car.  The race track cancelled the last two weeks due to rain.  He is super excited that so far it looks like it will be dry.   Now as the spectator, I am hoping for a warmer night than what we have been having.

Speedy Fox and Friends - Use Kraft

For the Speedy Fox challenge for today we were to use Kraft card stock.   I like Kraft and black together so that was my choice of colors.  I used craft white ink to stamp my image  (Mark's Finest Paper Stamp "Butterfly Essence")  on the Kraft paper.
I punched out circles, stamped my sentiment, added ribbon and "Viola", I have a card made with Kraft paper completing the the challenge.  Come over to Speedy Fox and Friends and join us for the challenge.   See you there.

Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge - The Eyes Have It

Here is my card for the Speedy TV Inspiration Challenge this week.  The theme of the challenge is "The Eyes Have It".  I found some really wild eye color combinations.   I have not seen them on anyone on the street or at Wal Mart.  That means that I am not hanging out in the right places or it could  be I am not hanging out in the wrong places.  :)  Here are the Inspiration pictures:
