Squigglefly - Oh, Dear.

The Squigglefly challenge for today is to use a deer or a dear sentiment on our cards.  I was needing a card for a lady who is ailing at church so I made a computer generated sentiment for my card.  I used one of my favorite images from Squigglefly called Boxer by Inid Barnes.  Enid uses pointillism on her images.   Any of you who know me very well, know that boxers are my most favorite dog in the world.   I have Yorkie's that are special, but the boxers were my first love.  I met a cute boxer boy last week that is in need of adoption.  I am really thinking about it.  I know it is not something I need right now, but when you look into his eyes, I think, how can I say no.  I suppose it would be best for me get the procedure on my arm taken care of before I make that decision.

Now it is off to the grocery store to fight the crowd.  I should have done the holiday shopping last week.   I am a slacker, what can I say.  :)

Thanks, for taking a look at my card today.

  2. Oh I love this Shirley! Great layout and such a wonderful sentiment to go with this Boxer's expression. I know how hard it is to look into those dog eyes and not take them in. Sometimes you just feel such a connection you know it's meant to be!

  3. This card speaks to me Shirley! I love this image and you colored it up perfectly. This will certainly cheer your friend at church and she will surely remember it forever. So perfect!!! I vote yes for the adoption (but after your procedure). I still haven't done my shopping - I am in BIG trouble!!! I am going to sneak out of work early this morning and go do some of it - bad me! Wonderful card my friend. Hugz

  5. This boxer's face just warmed my heart!! Just looks like one of yourfur babies, being concerned for you ! Those warm colors in your DP convey the concerned feeling - and I bet after your shoulder is taken care of, you will be "connecting" with that boxer you spoke of!!

Sweet face on a darling card!!

  6. Who can resist that face - it just oozes love and says give me hugs and rubs! Your card is wonderful and, hopefully, after the procedure - you will feel better.
