Here is a card I made for the mixed media challenge at Splitcoast. I used gesso and delusion sprays and a little bit of dog hair (accidently) that gave it a crackled technique effect. For full details and a chuckle, take a look at this post.
Be sure and watch for my next dog hair project that is coming to this blog next week. ~grin~
I'm laughing out loud - not at your beautiful card - but at the dog hair. You may have come up with a new texture technique for all pet lovers to use in their mixed media creations. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous Shirley, this image is adorable ! Hugs, blessings and love from Catherine
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous Shirley, you should really do mixed media more often!! That background is just incredible, well done my friend! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THESE COLORS TOGETHER AND I LOVE YOUR CARD!! You do not sound like a goof ball - you just sound like a totally fun person to be with!!!
ReplyDeleteThis will generate a lot of giggles in the gallery I love your description of the "grid", the gal who looks like Bella (she REALLY DOES LOOK LIKE BELLA) and the story about you and her in 'her apartment' watching chick flicks. This is a card just full of fun (and it shows - but NOT the dog hair!)
BTW, I do not see the 'crackle paint' effect you are talking about - just looks COOL!
