I made this Asian card for a technique lovers challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. Sabrina had a tutorial for us to make Asian lanterns. All you need to do this is to have oval or round punches and a crimper. I used Art Neko Handmade Paper on the lanterns. I used gold paper for the scalloped circle. The image came from one of Art Neko Coin Envelopes. I used an oval die to cut this cute boy out of the center of the bag. I added the die cut gold Birthday Wishes for the finishing touch.
I want to wish each one of you a very Happy New Year. Stay safe. See you next year.

Friends of Flourishes Christmas Challenge
It is Saturday and time for a new challenge for the Friends of Flourishes design team. I used the
Flourishes Coastal Christmas stamp set for my card. This stamp set comes in a stamp form as well as in a digital image. After I colored my image, fussy cut the wreath and placed a stamped sentiment behind it, then attached it to the pink doily. The pink palm tree paper was perfect to showcase my beach themed wreath.
Be sure to check out the other design team members blogs to see their cards.

Blue Knight - Pathways of Life
The Ways To Use It challenge today is "Windows of the World". I used
the stamp called Pathway Through The Woods". It makes me think about
all the pathways in life and the ones we chose to follow. Wow, if we
could put our paths on a map, we would probably have more paths on a
road map than roads. In my life, I have chose a lot of wrong paths, but
maybe those were the paths that led me to the paths that make me happy.
Oh, well, that is my food for thought for the day. Have a happy day.

Merry Christmas - Gold Embossed Ornament
I have a pretty, but quick Christmas card to share with you today. I used the Art Neko images S1010001-Bold Star Christmas Ornament and the S1010014 Merry Christmas Text.
I chose a pretty bluish green card stock and I adhered it to a white card base. I used my embossing buddy to rub one the blue paper to prepare it for the embossing process. I used Versa Mark ink to stamp my image along with the sentiment. I then used gold embossing powder over it. For the finishing touch, I added a white bow on the gold ornament.
I appreciate your coming by today and I hope you liked the card.

Friends of Flourishes - Pearls and Lace
Hello, my crafty friends. Today we are having the first Friends of Flourishes Challenge. We were challenged with the theme of Pearls and Lace. For my lace, I used the square lacy die. I added it over a white dry embossed dotted layer which was adhered to the card base. I colored my poinsettia from the Flourishes Year in Flowers 3 stamp set. I used another die to cut and emboss the image. I added my pearls in the corners. I had a strand of silver embellishments and I snipped off pieces of it to place around the the image to give it more of a festive feel.

Art Neko Teahouse on Lily Pond
Here is a card I made for the Art Neko blog today. I used the Art Neko image Teahouse on Lily Pond.
I layered my gold shimmery paper and Asian designer paper over the black card base. I colored my image using copic markers and matting it over layers of the same papers previously used. I used Asian dies to cut the Kanji and the bridge. I layered the Kanji and popped it up with dimensional. I adhered the pieces to the card base to complete the card.
Thanks, for stopping in today. I hope you enjoyed my card.

Blue Knight Winter Cabin Christmas
Here is a card I made for the Technique Lovers challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. We were to add snowflakes to our cards. I used glitter paper to cut the snowflakes. I used the image Winter Cabin by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. The image was colored with copics on Georgia Pacific card stock. I always thought this card stock was hard to color, but some of my friends at QKR were using this card stock to make their outstanding cards. It took me a while to be able to do it, but I finally got the hang of it. Before I was using a very nice card stock which was super easy to color. The last time I ordered the nice card stock, it was not the same so I am happy I can work with the Georgia Pacific plus the cost is cheaper.
Have a good day, Friends.

Crossing The Old Covered Bridge
Here is a card I made using images from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. The ones used are Covered Bridge and Antique Car Rear View. I have always loved Covered Bridges and one does not see many of those around anymore. I saw my first one when I was fifteen. My parents took me to Indiana to visit friends. I was so amazed to see a bridge that was actually covered.
I colored my images with copics and fussy cut the antique car that is crossing the bridge.
Thank you, for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoyed my card.

Blue Knight Praying For You
I recently received this stamp from Blue Knight Stamps called "Praying For You". I colored the image with copics and fussy cut it. I added some wings using a die from ODBD.
I used a technique from the Splitcoast MIX challenge this week to make the background. I took watercolor paper and sprinkled two colors of Ken Oliver color bursts on it. I spritzed it with shimmer mist. I used a piece of Saran Wrap over the top and then dabbed the wrap around on the paper. Let's say my background does not look like it should because my paper was way to wet. Since there was a big puddle I used paper towel to dry it up. I let it dry naturally.
The Free 4 All challenge at Splitcoast was to make a card and attach a gift. I created a bookmark using the angel with wings. Since the bookmark could not be glued down, I add a corner die cut to hold the bookmark in place. When the background dried I put my other pieces on the card.
Thank you, for taking a look at my little angel.

Art Neko Cowgirl
I made this card for the Inspiration challenge on Splitcoast. I matched my paper colors to a scarf.
I was needing a card for Art Neko, as well, so I added this little cowgirl to the red and black designer paper. The Art Neko set I used is "Cowboy Up" #A271FSHT.
Thank you, for coming by to look at my card.

MHK Designs - Stitched Tea Party
Hello, my friends. I couldn't wait to share this cute card made with the MHK Designs Stitched Tea Party digital stamps. I printed the teapot on to colored paper, colored my flowers and leaves. I used Stickles in the center of the flowers. I used white acrylic paint and a sylus to make the dots. Now just look at the cute sentiment, isn't it really sweet?
Be sure and visit the MHK Designs blog to see what the other designers have made.
Be sure and tune in tomorrow. I will be back with another card made with a new release from MHK Designs.

Thank you, for stopping in today. I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the new Realistic Roses stamp set.
