Crossing The Old Covered Bridge

Here is a card I made using images from Blue Knight Rubber Stamps.  The ones used are Covered Bridge and Antique Car Rear View.   I have always loved Covered Bridges and one does not see many of those around anymore.  I saw my first one when I was fifteen.  My parents took me to Indiana to visit friends.   I was so amazed to see a bridge that was actually covered.

I colored my images with copics and fussy cut the antique car that is crossing the bridge.

Thank you, for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoyed my card.

  2. This is such a neat image. I really like covered bridges too. There are a few that I know of, but not many. I like how you paired it with the old car. This company has some neat images that are unique. I had not heard of them until I saw them on your SCS gallery. TFS!

  3. Your bridge is absolutely beautiful and very true to the way that they look I live in Iowa not too far from Madison county where the movie the Bridges of Madison County was made there are still several of the old bridges that they have been restored and one looks just like this

  4. Wow, so beautifully colored, Shirley, and what a great idea to put an old antique car on there too! Bucks county where I live is known for many of these gorgeous nostalgic old covered bridges - so nice to see such a beautiful card made with this on the front!

  5. So very beautiful, I saw one when I was 15 when we visited my Uncle in Ohio, LOVED it and your card captures the essence of the bridge beautifully.

  6. Fabulous scene, perfect masculine card!

  7. What a great image and card. Covered bridges do conjure up thoughts of a much simpler time don't they. Thanks for sharing!
