Blue Knight Anything, But A Card

Hello, Stamping Friends.  Today I made a gift bag for the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Blog.    Our challenge for this week was to make anything, but a card.  This is the first gift bag I have made.   I started out with a brown paper lunch sack.  I layered card stock and designer paper on the lower part of the sack.  On the top part I used a scalloped die to cut scallops with the same papers.  I stamped my wreath image (Thank You Wreath) on white card stock and used a circle die to cut it out.  I added a scalloped layer behind it following with another white circle to complete my layers.  My image was colored using Copics.  I used dimensionals to attach my image to my gift bag.  I put glaze on the bee's wings.  I stamped my bee image  from the  Honey Bee and Sunflower stamp set and colored it with Copics. I fussy cut the bee from the flower image.   To finish off my bag,  I used white tulle to make a bow to tie down the flap of the bag.

Thank you, for stopping by today.  I hope to see you again real soon.

  1. Fabulous transformation of a lunch sack!!! This one is made for a QUEEN! Love the colors of your papers and that sweet little bee!!

  2. Well, as far as I can see there is no lunch sack left. You did an amazing job and especially since this is your first gift bag. I love it and it is so very gorgeous in every way! I like how the bee is so dimensional too. And the white bow looks fantastic with it.

  3. I love the colors here and the wreath is so pretty! The tulle bow is fantastic! Very textural addition! Hope you are well!

  4. I hope this won't be the last bag you will make as it is stunning and so beautiful. I would be more than happy with the bag and it wouldn't matter what was inside x
