The Pasture - Another New Release

I am back with a couple of cards made with the Blue Knight Rubber Stamp's newly released
"The Pasture"   For the first card, I stamped the image on white card stock.  I colored the image using my trusty Copics.  Not sure how I managed before I found Copics.   It wasn't easy.   ~grin~. On the grass in front of the pasture I mixed my brown and green colors.  I colored the sky in orange tones to give

For my second card I went with a Winter look.  I stamped the image on white card stock.  I colored my trees using very light gray colors.   I added Snow Tex to my sky and the ground.   I had never used Snow Tex before, but I really like the affect it gives.  I am not sure it shows well enough for you to see the snow on the ground.

In our area, we have only seen a dusting of snow, so far.  According to the forecast, my yard just might look like the the one in this card before the end of the month.   I personally prefer just a dusting of snow.  Dustings do not last very long.

Check out the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps blog to see other cards of my team mates.  Blue Knight has a Facebook Fan Page that you might want to check out.

Thanks, so much, for coming by today.  I really appreciate the visit.  Have a great week.

  1. Wow, who could have imagined a stamp looking so different just by changing the colors for the season!!!
You ACED this one, Sis!! Have a beautiful day (with no more than a dusting of snow!) HUGS!

  2. You have shown how versatile this design is with the season changes you have done with it. They are both beautiful!

  3. What fabulous contrasting cards from the one stamped image. I have never used snow tex either and lets hope if you get snow it is just a dusting x. Both of cards are stunning x

  4. Both so VERY different, but both so beautiful, love the colours and the snow view with it's texture.
    Faith x

  5. Beautiful cards, like seeing the same image in different seasons!

  6. How Beautiful! I really liked this image. I must look for it at the stamp show this coming spring.

  7. These are both just lovely and completely different looks. I don’t think your posts are showing up in my blog reader as I completely missed this. I am going to double check to make sure I am still following you.

  8. I really like how you did 2 completely beautiful scenes with the same stamp! Both are such pretty cards!

  9. The cards look totally different! So pretty! Love the snow one the best - so peaceful. Hugz
